Ireland Baldwin Roasts Dad Alec Baldwin over THAT infamous ‘little pig’ voicemail

Ireland Baldwin is the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, his ex-wife. Ireland was just a child when her parents split in the early 2000s, and she found herself in the limelight.

Comedy Central recently held another round of their well-known roast series. This time, Alec Baldwin was on the hot seat, and a slew of celebs showed up to roast him. Robert De Niro, Caitlyn Jenner, Ken Jeong, Caroline Rhea, and Blake Griffin are among the notable faces.

Ireland didn’t hold back when mocking her father, including referencing the notorious voiemail that led to their split over a decade ago.

She is now a 24-year-old model and a strong-willed young woman.

“Dad, I’m Ireland,” the model, 23, jokedly introduced herself to the 61-year-old in a clip from the upcoming program.

    “I almost didn’t even know about it, because I haven’t checked my voicemails for the last 12 years,” she said as Alec merely nodded.

    In 2007, she received a voicemail from her father in which he referred to her as a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

    “It’s not easy to be the daughter of an iconic movie star, but I’m not here to talk about my mom and her Oscar,” Ireland said of her mother, who won an Oscar for L.A. Confidential in 1998.

    The roasters alternated between cracking jokes about Baldwin’s rage, his poor relationship with his siblings, and his career.

    Ireland went on to say, “I don’t really know you that well, either,” like the other celebs mocking her father that night, including Blake Griffin, Caitlyn Jenner, Ken Jeong, and Robert De Niro.

    When the voicemail was released, the 30 Rock star revealed in a subsequent interview with Playboy that he had ‘very serious’ thoughts about killing himself.

    The call came during a heated custody fight between Baldwin and Basinger.

    Ireland and Alec were enstranged for many years as a result of this.

    Ireland continued to make jokes about their relationship: “A lot of people know my dad as that guy from the Mission: Impossible movies or that guy from 30 Rock. I know him as that guy from, like, half of my birthday parties.”

    “I actually have a lot in common with the people on this Roast because, like them, I don’t really know you that well either,” Ireland told her father.

    “Mission: Impossible is what I call getting my dad to apologize,” she explained before taking a hearty hug from her father.

    This wasn’t the first time Ireland has made a joke about voicemail.

    “I’m here to roast this big old ham I call my father. Speaking of pigs. Some of you may remember me as that thoughtless little pig you read about,” she remarked in 2017 on Spike TV’s One Night Only. “That was a decade ago, and my dad and I are in a much better place now. He would never say something like that. Because I’m 6’2” and I would kick his a–.”

    Alec has four additional children with his second wife Hilaria after his bitter divorce from Oscar winner Kim.

    Carmen, six, and Rafael, four, Leonardo, three, and Romeo, one, are the couple’s children.
