Eva Mendes says doing Full-frontal nudity is ‘scary’
When Eva Mendes bares it all in movies, she wants people to think of her as “brave.”
The actress is frequently referred to as one of Hollywood’s most sexiest women, and she has appeared on several lists of the world’s most beautiful women. While she doesn’t mind being described as attractive, Eva is irritated by how it affects her career.
Eva argues that when she strips off for the camera, she is treated differently than other stars. And she’s fed up with it. She is seen entirely naked in the Oscar-winning neo-classic Training Day.
The actress, who has been in films such as Ghost Rider, The Spirit, and Bad Lieutenant, told Allure magazine that just because she is gorgeous doesn’t mean she isn’t afraid of taking off her costume.
‘[When] other actresses who aren’t thought of, maybe, as being quite as attractive do full-frontal, they’re called brave. Nobody has ever said, “Eva, you’re so brave for doing full-frontal nudity.”

‘Why am I not brave?’
The 36-year-old is aware that she occasionally exploits her sexiness, but she has resolved to do it less frequently. She’d rather be associated with adjectives like “ambition, will, intellect, and sense of humour” than “sexy,” and she’s concerned about the message her admirers are getting from the way she’s portrayed.
She admitted that she doesn’t always feel good about herself, but she tries not to be too concerned about it. She despises it when she starts doubting herself during picture sessions, but she’s found a method to deal with it.
“I talk to the voice within me and say, ‘I know you want to tell me that I’m less than desirable, but not now. You can come back in a couple days and cut me down when I’m done with this shoot. I promise to let you in then.”
Mendes will next be seen on the big screen starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys.
Eva plays Will’s character’s wife in the film, which follows two hapless New York City cops as they struggle to prove themselves.
