The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine, were spotted exchanging warm greetings with the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie, as well as their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, during their visit to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The royal couple brought along their daughter Princess Charlotte, who seemed to thoroughly enjoy cheering for the swimmers.

The Cambridges made their way to the Sandwell Aquatic Centre in Birmingham, where the swimming competitions were taking place on Tuesday afternoon.

As they settled into their seats in the stands, they were delighted to be reunited with the Wessex family.

Catherine appeared elated as she warmly greeted each member of the family with a double kiss on the cheek.

William, following closely behind, also exchanged greetings with his aunt, uncle, and young cousins.

Lady Louise and her mother were particularly pleased to see their cousin Catherine, and their joy was evident as they embraced each other.

During this appearance, Lady Louise, who is the Queen’s youngest granddaughter at 18 years old, looked impressive in a white shirt, floral skirt, and a tan leather handbag as she greeted the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.

Meanwhile, Catherine, who had her brunette tresses styled in loose curls, greeted James, Viscount Severn, aged 7, 14-year-old Sophie Wessex, 57-year-old Lady Louise Windsor, and 58-year-old Prince Edward.

Catherine looked effortlessly elegant in an Alexander McQueen white suit, which she had previously worn during her and Prince William’s Caribbean tour in Jamaica back in March.

She had also sported the same outfit for a series of engagements in London to mark Windrush Day.

Joining her parents, Princess Charlotte, aged 7, looked adorable in a black and white striped dress with a white-filled collar from Rachel Riley, paired with white sandals.

Her hair was styled in pigtails as she sat just in front of the Wessex family, squinting her eyes to catch a glimpse of something on the big screen.

Meanwhile, Catherine engaged in conversation with an official at the event.

Seated just in front of the Wessex family, William, Catherine, and Charlotte watched the men’s 1,500 meters freestyle swimming race on the fifth day of the Commonwealth Games.
