Camilla is elegant in a trench coat as she becomes patron of horse charity supporting military mental health
The Duchess of Cornwall shares a passion for horses with her mother-in-law, the Queen, so it’s no wonder that she felt right at home when she visited HorseBack UK.
The Duchess has been named the Patron of the HorseBack UK chairty.
Camilla, a passionate rider, understands how horses may aid in recovery and wellbeing, per the organization.
Veterans and anyone in need of mental health care can turn to Horseback UK for assistance, education, and rehabilitation skills.
Camilla, who has spent the majority of the last year at Clarence House in London, was photographed wearing a stylish trench coat as she paid a visit to the Scottish charity, which is based in Aberdeenshire, in an undated portrait released today.

The organization expressed its gratitude for The Duchess of Cornwall’s support and experience.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Duchess of Cornwall for accepting the invitation to become our patron,” said co-founder Emma Hutchison.
“As a keen equestrian herself, HRH understands how horses can help have a positive impact on our wellbeing and recovery.”
In 2019, Camilla, who is known in Scotland as the Duchess of Rothesay, paid a visit to HorseBack UK’s headquarters in South Ferrar, Aboyne.
Camilla looked natural and calm in photos posted after a visit to the organization, with just a hint of mascara and a glossy lip, and her hair perfectly brushed dry into her usual style.
Since 2009, HorseBack UK has hosted Military courses to empower active and retired military individuals who have suffered both physical and mental life-altering disabilities.
They conduct personal development programs that help participants to acquire new coping methods, life skills, and resilience, as well as a nationally recognized qualification, through horsemanship and outdoor activities.
For the past six years, the Schools Development Programs have been a huge success. Teenagers participate in the same SQA Level 4 Certificate in Personal Growth Through Horsemanship throughout a 15-day program, with an emphasis on involvement and personal development.
The Duke of Sussex, Camilla’s stepson, is well-known for his work with the Invictus Games, which helps wounded, sick, and injured veterans and members of the armed forces.
In conjunction with The Prince’s Trust, the organization has just launched a new Youth Development Programme to provide support to those in the local community.
It comes at a busy time for the Duchess of Cornwall, who recently joined Prince Charles to meet with theatre royalty on their way to the West End to reopen the Theatre Royal Drury before making an official visit to Hyde Park.
