Anjelica Huston and Jack Nicholson had a tumultuous 17-year-long on-again/off-again relationship, during which she repeatedly caught him cheating.

After years of feeling betrayed, Huston ultimately unleashed her rage on Nicholson with a physical attack.

In her recently published memoir, Huston reveals that Nicholson would openly flirt with other women in her presence.

One notable incident occurred at a Carole King concert, where Joni Mitchell spent the entire show sitting between Nicholson’s legs.

When confronted, Nicholson dismissed Huston’s concerns, claiming Mitchell was “just a friend.”

    Nicholson’s infidelity was not limited to flirtations, as multiple women informed Huston about their affairs with the actor.

    Instead of owning up to his actions, Nicholson would attempt to justify his behavior, describing it as a “mercy f*ck.”

    Huston also discovered a love letter from another woman, praising Nicholson’s lovemaking abilities. He lied about the letter, claiming it was meant for someone else.

    The breaking point in their relationship came when Huston learned that Nicholson had impregnated another woman.

    Though heartbroken, she gracefully informed him that there was only room for one woman in his life and chose to step back from the relationship.

    However, civility evaporated when Huston found out about an interview Nicholson gave to Playboy Magazine, detailing a playful spanking session with a lover. This revelation sent Huston into a fury.

    In her memoir, Huston describes her confrontation with Nicholson:

    “I walked straight into Jack’s office. He was coming out of the bathroom when I attacked him.”

    “I don’t think I kicked him, but I beat him savagely about the head and shoulders.”

    “He was ducking and bending, and I was going at him like a prizefighter, raining a vast array of direct punches.”

    After the physical altercation, they spoke on the phone, and Nicholson admitted to being bruised all over his body. They both laughed, and Huston told him he deserved it.

    Despite the incident, that Christmas, Nicholson gifted Huston a pearl-and-diamond bracelet once owned by Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra.

    The card read, “These pearls from your swine. With happiest wishes for the holidays—Enjoy—Yr Jack.”

    Although charmed by the gesture, Huston told The Guardian, “His signing, ‘Your Jack’, was the one thing he never was.”
