Heather Graham, the star of Boogie Nights, recently spoke about the fear she faced while shooting a n/de scene with co-star Mark Wahlberg during an interview with Yahoo!.

The actress admitted that the experience was terrifying for her, as it was her first time filming a n/de scene.

Boogie Nights, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, was a commercial success in the late 1990s, grossing $43.1 million and receiving critical acclaim.

The film revolves around the adult film industry in the 1970s and 1980s, when the industry was undergoing a transition from artistic expression to simple visual pleasure projects.

Graham, who played the role of a porn star in the film, revealed that she was nervous about the n/de scene.

    During the interview, Graham also mentioned that Wahlberg was wearing a fake penis during the scene, which made it less intimidating for her.

    She said, “He’s wearing a fake penis so it’s not exactly the same… That was my first time [doing a n/de scene], and I was so nervous about it.

    “But at that point in my career I was also like, ‘Beggars can’t be choosers.’ It was a great script and Paul was an amazing talent.

    “I had a great time making that movie even though it was terrifying doing a n/de scene.”

    Graham’s honesty about the challenges of filming n/de scenes highlights the pressure that actors face in the industry.

    While the art of filmmaking demands a lot from actors, it also requires them to go to extremes sometimes to bring a tale to life.

    Despite the daunting experience, Boogie Nights remains one of Graham’s most prominent roles.

    The film’s success was due to Anderson’s ability to showcase the adult film industry as a genuine business rather than something dirty and taboo, changing the perspective of the audience.
