Royal fans convinced they spotted Princess Charlotte ‘texting her friends’
Royal fans are convinced that Princess Charlotte was caught texting her friends while standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
The young princess was seen looking down at what appeared to be a mobile phone while her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, pulled faces behind her.
The family had gathered on the balcony to watch the flypast that followed the Trooping the Colour ceremony, which marks the King’s official birthday.
The ceremony saw 1,400 troops, horse riders, and musicians come together in an impressive display of military pageantry.
King Charles III rode in the procession wearing the traditional bearskin hat of the Welsh Guards, drawing attention to his horsemanship as well as his striking resemblance to his late father, Prince Philip.

After the ceremony, the Royal Family made their way to Buckingham Palace to watch the flypast, which featured a special signature formation in honour of the King.
Air Vice-Marshal Mark Flewin, who was responsible for the flypast, revealed that the formation was a surprise for His Majesty.
The planes formed a ‘CR’ in the sky, representing Charles Rex III, with ‘Rex’ meaning ‘king’ in Latin.
The King was clearly delighted by the flypast and watched as it lasted for around 15 minutes.
The aircraft first gathered outside the city before moving into formation above Buckingham Palace.
The RAF’s flypast was intended to showcase the breadth of the services’ capabilities, marking the King’s official birthday in style.
While all eyes were on the impressive aerial display, some eagle-eyed royal fans took notice of Princess Charlotte, who seemed preoccupied with her phone.
She was photographed looking down at the device while her brothers played around behind her.
It is unclear what she was doing on her phone, but it appears that she was trying to avoid getting distracted by Prince Louis’ antics.
The Trooping the Colour ceremony and flypast are annual events steeped in tradition, and this year’s celebration was no exception.
The King’s birthday is a significant occasion for the Royal Family and is marked with great pomp and pageantry.
