Taylor Swift Rejects Meghan Markle’s Invitation to Join Archetypes Podcast

Taylor Swift has reportedly declined an invitation to appear on Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast, even after receiving a handwritten letter from the Duchess of Sussex.

According to sources, Meghan personally asked the singer to join the now-cancelled Spotify podcast, which saw her discuss the labels that can hold women back with a range of guests, including Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, Jameela Jamil, and Andy Cohen.

However, Taylor declined the invitation through her representative.

Rumors began circulating in August 2022 that Meghan was not directly interviewing her guests, as some of the interviews were reportedly conducted by her staff, and her voice was added later.

Writer Alison Yarrow also posed in front of a sign for the audio production house Gimlet Media, where she thanked an Archetypes producer for being an excellent interviewer.

Sources claim that Meghan is trying to attach herself to Taylor and Zendaya to gain popularity with Generation Z.

However, Taylor is known to be very selective in what public appearances she chooses to make, and there would be no need for her to do any podcast at all, let alone Meghan’s.

Thus, Meghan’s invitation to Taylor seems delusional.

Furthermore, Meghan forgot that she never made it in Hollywood, and no one knew who she was before marrying into the royal family.

Having the title and fame does not equate to having the talent to be a star.

Meghan can only sell her name and title to her fans, but she cannot sell content.

It seems that Meghan thought using her title as a duchess could make her friends with any wealthy A-listers, but she is classless and has ghosted all her old non-A-list friends.

Meghan deliberately tried to make people change from Team William and Wales to Team Sussex, but only faced rejection.

Taylor is definitely Team Wales.

In 2013, Prince William was led to the stage by Swift during a Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace to join Jon Bon Jovi for a rendition of Living on a Prayer.

They seemed to have a great time with each other and felt comfortable.

Eight years later, William revealed how the memorable moment went down on a special Christmas episode of Apple Fitness’ Time to Walk series.

“So around about, it must be nearly 10 years ago now, I can’t believe I’m actually telling this story.

I went to a charity fundraising gala for Centrepoint, which is a young homeless charity that I’m very fond of and have supported for many years.

It’s an annual fundraiser, and I turn up, and Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift are at the event, which nearly knocked me off my feet as well,” Prince William said.

“When I sat down to watch Jon Bon Jovi do his performance, I thought, ‘that’s it, my job’s done.

I’ll get dinner in a minute, and I might be able to have a chat to some people, and you know, I’m off duty a little bit now.’

Little did I think what was going to happen next,” he continued.

“I’m sat next to Taylor Swift, she’s on my left, and after Jon does his first song, there’s a pause, and she turns to me.

She puts her hand on my lap, looks me in the eye, and says, ‘come on William, let’s go and sing,'” he recalled.

“To this day, I still don’t know what came over me.

Honestly, even now, I’m cringing at what happened next.

I don’t understand why I gave in, but frankly, if Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm, and says, ‘come with me,’ I got up like a little puppy and went, ‘yeah, okay, seems like a good idea, I’ll follow you,'” he added.
