The highly anticipated Royal Ascot Week has begun in the United Kingdom, and it’s one of the most significant summer events.

The opening ceremony saw the presence of members of the Royal Family, including King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

While many fans are discussing Princess Catherine of Wales’ stunning outfit, not everyone paid attention to the special guests that joined the King and Queen.

At the Hippodrome, Their Majesties led a carriage procession with the Duke and Duchess of Wellington.

In the second carriage behind the King and Queen were Camilla’s sister, Annabel Elliot, Annabel’s son Sir Ben Elliot and his wife Mary Clare, who were also joined by Charles’s sister, Princess Anne.

Camilla and her younger sister Annabel share a close bond, and Annabel was one of Camilla’s ladies attending the coronation in May.

On opening day, Annabel rode in the same carriage as Royal Princess Anne.

The King and Queen marked the first Royal Ascot of their reign on the opening day.

In a joint preface to the official program, Charles and Camilla mentioned the late Queen Elizabeth II, who played a central role in the calendar of the Royal Meet.

The late Queen’s cousins, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Mike and Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Eduardo Mapelli Mazi, and Peter Phillips and his girlfriend Lindsay Stephen joined Charles and Camilla on the first day of Royal Ascot.

Queen Camilla looked elegant in a cream embroidered coat and gown by Dior and a hat by Philip Tracy.

She completed the look with a diamond oyster-shell brooch with a pearl that once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother.

King Charles and Queen Camilla watched with tears in their eyes as their horse desert hero won the King George V race.

Trainer William Haggis spoke about their Majesty’s great excitement, saying that they had been looking forward to Royal Ascot for a long time.

Princess Catherine of Wales’ stunning outfit did not go unnoticed among the Royal fans.

Her Highness wore a scarlet dress from her favourite designer Alexander McQueen, with a prominent neckline and long sleeves.

The princess hat by Irish fashion designer Philip Treacy was in the same shade of red as Catherine’s dress, decorated with large flowers and feathers.

The Princess of Wales chose earrings made of gold thread and black beads over her usual family jewels by the more democratic brand Cezanne.

This image of Princess Catherine was inspired by one of Princess Diana’s outfits.

Princess Beatrice appeared at this year’s race in a floral print outfit, a look that harks back to the Queen Mother’s image at Royal Ascot in 1990.

Royal Ascot has always been synonymous with high fashion and fine attire, and hats have always been a key part of the dress code.

Ever since that tradition, when women’s hats ceased to receive so much attention at other events, at Royal Ascot, on the contrary, hats have become more and more flamboyant, more and more refined.

In addition to the outfits, the plentiful food also attracts attendees to the festivities.

Each year, the event eats 240,000 cakes for traditional tea, 60,000 sandwiches, and 8,000 Cornish crabs.

In short, Royal Ascot Week is off to a great start, with the King and Queen enjoying their first Royal Ascot, and guests dressed to impress.

It’s a week-long event that showcases the best of fashion, horse racing, and traditional English culture.
