The royal family of Jordan is still basking in the joy of Crown Prince Hussain’s wedding to his architect sweetheart, Princess Rajwa.

Queen Rania and her eldest son, Crown Prince Hussain, shared some new photos from the spectacular royal wedding on social media.

The couple got married in Oman on Thursday in a grand Islamic marriage ceremony at Zahran Palace.

Queen Rania, 52, took to Instagram to share 20 new shots across three carousels, recapping the couple’s wedding ceremony, the grand procession to the reception at Al-Hussainiyah Palace, the celebration there, and the glittering banquet that followed.

In her post, she wrote, “May God bless you both and fill your home with love and happiness.”

She also added the hashtag “Celebrating Al-Hussain” to one of the montages.

The second carousel featured a few family pictures from behind the scenes, including Iman hugging her dad, Rania and Salma enjoying drinks together, and a wider group shot.

Crown Prince Hussain celebrated his bride with a heartfelt post of his own on Instagram, sharing a formal portrait where he stood beside his bride at Zahran Palace in their wedding finery.

The sweet family photos showed the Jordanian royals at the banquet after the reception for 1,700 guests, where Princess Rajwa, 29, memorably changed into a surprise second dress.

Queen Rania recapped the night’s events in the caption, “From last night’s dinner banquet in celebration of Hussain and Rajwa.”

The tribute opened with a shot of herself and Abdullah with the newlyweds and Rajwa’s parents, Khalid Al-Sif and Azhar Al-Sudairi, before they greeted guests like Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Queen Rania also changed into a new look for the evening’s final festivities, stepping out in a beaded beige and cream cape dress by Elie Saab, the designer behind Princess Rajwa’s first wedding dress.

All the Jordanian royal women topped their looks with diamond tiaras, in what was likely a special first for Salma and the bride.

Princess Iman had her own bridal tiara moment at her royal wedding to Jameel Thurmiotis in March.

Nine months after Crown Prince Hussain announced their engagement in August 2022, he and Rajwa made it official in a religious ceremony presided over by Dr. Ahmed Al-Khalileh, Imam of the Royal Hashemite Court.

The ceremony was attended by 140 people, including members of their families, visiting dignitaries, and royalty from around the world.

Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussain signed a marriage contract with two witnesses and exchanged rings during the service before traveling in an epic motorcade to the Al-Hussainiyah Palace reception.

Shortly after the service, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Rajwa was officially given a royal title.

A royal decree was issued to bestow the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al-Hussain on Miss Rajwa Khalid-ul-Sif, on the occasion of her marriage to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussain Hashj Jordan.

The mother of the groom congratulated the newlyweds, saying, “Congratulations, Hussain and Rajwa.

A beautiful evening celebrating with friends and family.”

The wedding was a grand affair, with guests from all over the world attending the event.

The Jordanian royals looked stunning in their outfits, and the bride stole the show with her two dresses.

The photos shared by the family give us a glimpse into the joyous occasion, and we wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness together.
