Queen Elizabeth II’s Wealth and Inheritance: Who Gets What?

Queen Elizabeth II, often referred to as the wealthiest woman in the world, has amassed an enormous array of personal wealth over the years, including investments, art, jewels, and real estate from decades of colonial rule.

However, one of the main questions on everyone’s mind is what will happen to her wealth and who will inherit these treasured items, including historic jewels and artwork.

According to a PTI report, the monarchy’s brand was valued at around $88 billion by valuation consultancy firm Brand Finance in 2017, while Forbes estimated Queen Elizabeth II’s personal wealth to be around $500 million.

But what will happen to this wealth after her death?

Representatives have told Forbes that Prince Harry was apparently cut from the Queen’s last will and testament, which specifies how her wealth will be distributed after her death in Scotland.

Trending:

Harry wasn’t a beneficiary of any of the $100 million left to the royal family by his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, and the rumor is that Princess Anne is in control of it all.

Radar Online confirmed in September 2022 that there’s a very good chance the cream won’t leave either of them any jewels of value.

A source said that it’s not surprising since they’re not members of the royal family anymore, but it would be a real slap in the face.

Radar Online also reported that Meghan’s sister-in-law, Princess of Wales, who’s set to inherit $110 million in jewelry from the Queen, will likely pass some of the jewels to their niece because she and her husband Prince William really don’t want Lilibet to be left out.

As for Meghan, she’s none of their concern.

The insider added the Queen left Meghan out of the inheritance altogether.

However, a source close to the palace also revealed that although the Queen left Harry no money or jewelry, she allowed Harry to inherit a horse named Meg because Harry likes playing polo.

It was the only gift that was revealed, but until the testament is released, Harry hasn’t received anything to date.

It’s unclear if giving the horse named Meghan was a troll, but indeed, Meg joined seven other horses to pull King Charles’s carriages on the coronation in May.

The royal family has shared interesting updates by the historic occasion on their official Twitter account, captioning, “On the streets of London, the royal muse have been practicing for coronation day.”

They wrote alongside the clip, “The famous Windsor greys will pull their majesties’ carriages on the day.

Six horses, Icon, Shadow, Milford Haven, Echo, Knightsbridge, and Tyrone will pull the Diamond Jubilee state coach on the way to Westminster Abbey.

Meghan Newark will join the stablemates to pull the gold state coach on the return to Buckingham Palace.”

These horses have been used relatively recently in Jubilee celebrations for the late queen.

In other news, Spotify and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle severed ties this week, after three years, $20 million, and only 13 episodes of content.

Additionally, French fashion brand Dior flatly denied reports of a $20 million US sponsorship deal with Meghan Markle.

This comes as rumors emerge that Harry and Meghan’s multi-million dollar deal with Netflix might also be in jeopardy.

While last year’s Harry Meghan docuseries was the most watched subscription TV show of 2022, there are apparently no plans for a follow-up series, and Netflix is unlikely to renew the couple’s contract.

“There is a less friendly attitude from some at the top,” a source says.

“The feeling is that the lemon has been fully squeezed.

The big bucks Harry and Meghan signed on for do not exist today.”

In conclusion, while Queen Elizabeth II’s wealth is vast and varied, it’s uncertain who exactly will inherit her treasures.
