Queen Camilla Remains Unfazed by Prince Harry’s Accusations
The ongoing feud between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the rest of the Royal Family has been making headlines for a while now.
However, according to a close friend, Queen Camilla is not letting it get to her.
In January this year, Harry published his memoir Spare, in which he accused Camilla of being a wicked stepmother and a dangerous villain who left bodies in the street.
Royal commentator Camilla Tominy wrote that the Queen Consort isn’t the type to bear grudges, as her companion the Marchioness of Lansdowne said in April, “Of course it bothers her, of course it hurts, but she doesn’t let it get to her.
Her philosophy is always, don’t make a thing of it and it will settle down, least said, soonest mended.”

One former employee added, “If you think of all the years when she nearly had a bread roll thrown at her, how did she respond throughout that period?
She was just really stoic.
Her most admirable quality is certainly her sense of humor.”
The Duke of Sussex wrote about Camilla in Spare, “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.”
He was referring to an incident in which Camilla had allegedly leaked a story involving William to the press.
Although it later emerged it was leaked by her former assistant who was subsequently let go.
Harry claimed the incident in 2019 left William seething, adding “Pi and Camilla’s people had planted a story or stories about him, And Kate and the kids.
Give Pi and Camilla an inch, they take a mile.”
In spite of attending the King and Queen’s coronation last month, Harry is still far from patching up relations with his estranged family.
It was reported that in the lead up to the big day there had been moments of genuine cooperation between the Sussexes and Buckingham Palace.
However, on the day of the ceremony itself, Harry flew straight back to the US once the service at Westminster Abbey wrapped up, not speaking to either King Charles or Prince William.
Miss Tominey wrote, “while the Sussexes may be impatient for an apology, their royal relatives appear in no hurry whatsoever to bury the hatchet.
The emergence of a letter written by Meghan to the King, expressing her concerns about unconscious bias in the royal family, seems to have put pay to any imminent hope of reconciliation.”
Despite everything that has been said, Queen Camilla remains unfazed.
Her philosophy is to let things settle down and not make a big deal out of it.
She is not the type to bear grudges and her most admirable quality is her sense of humor.
