Princess Kate Takes Fashion Advice From Late Queen Elizabeth
The Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Kate, has been spotted wearing colourful attire at recent royal events, taking a leaf out of the late Queen Elizabeth’s fashion book.
The Queen is known for her daring colour-blocking choices, which were revealed in a new documentary titled The Queen at Ninety.
The documentary shed light on the reason behind the monarch’s outfit choices, which was to make her stand out in a crowd.
Princess Kate seems to have taken this advice on board and has been seen wearing similar outfits.
According to Oak magazine, Princess Kate has been donning colourful attire in recent months, just like Queen Elizabeth did when attending state functions.

It is believed that wearing in this manner makes the royals easier for the public to notice.
The Duchess of Edinburgh spoke about the late Queen’s fashion choices, saying that when the Queen is anywhere, there are crowds that are two, three, four, ten or fifteen people deep, and someone wants to be able to claim they had a glimpse of the Queen’s hat as she passed.
She needs to stand out so people can say, “I saw the Queen.”
Princess Kate has always been known for her excellent sense of style, but she seems to have made a minor change to her wardrobe by imitating the late Queen’s look.
At the Street Patricks Day parade in March, Princess Kate wore a green colour-blocked outfit, which had a specific significance and tribute to the unit she was visiting.
Green was chosen to honour Ireland in particular, and it also allowed Kate to adhere to the Queen’s edict and stay visible to everyone in attendance.
On March 17, 2023, in Aldershot, England, the Princess of Wales, in her capacity as Colonel of the Irish Guards, delivered a speech as she watched the Street Patricks Day parade at Mons Barracks.
This was her first parade as the regiment’s colonel this year after succeeding her husband, Prince William, Prince of Wales, who had served in that capacity since 2011.
Princess Kate wore a full green colour-blocking ensemble at Trooping the Colour 2023, a customary parade staged to commemorate the British Sovereign’s official birthday.
This was the first time she participated in Trooping the Colour since King Charles’ ascension to the throne.
Fashion enthusiasts noted the shamrock brooch she wore from Cartier to accessorise the suit, which had more symbolism than before.
It seems that Princess Kate has taken a specific style advice from the late queen, which has allowed her to stand out at public events.
She has attended numerous public events this year both alone and with other members of the royal family, and her fashion choices have been noticed by many.
The Princess of Wales is accustomed to representing herself in the best possible light.
