Princess Charlotte’s Future: A Career Instead of Full-Time Royalty

Princess Charlotte, the second child of Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, may not follow in the footsteps of being a full-time royal when she grows older, according to a royal expert.

While Charlotte is currently only seven years old, it is anticipated that in 15 to 20 years, she will pursue a career rather than assume the role of a working royal ambassador for the royal family.

Richard Eden, the diary editor for the Daily Mail, revealed, “…from what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want seven-year-old Charlotte to grow up knowing that she will obtain a job and not be a full-time royal.”

This decision aligns with the vision of a reduced monarchy held by her grandfather, King Charles I. Eden personally expressed his desire to see a larger royal family, engaging in more formal engagements and connecting with a wider range of the general public.

In order for Charlotte to pursue her own profession instead of taking on the responsibilities of a senior working royal, she must be prepared to fill the void if necessary.

This would mark a significant departure from the history of the royal family.

If Charlotte chooses not to become a working royal, it is unlikely that her younger brother, Prince Louis, will take on that role as well.

While Charlotte may not currently hold a royal title, there is a possibility that she could receive one in the future.

The title of Princess Royal, currently held by Princess Anne, was bestowed upon her in 1987.

However, since it is a life title, it can only be transferred to Charlotte after Princess Anne’s passing.

Traditionally, the title of Princess Royal is given to the monarch’s eldest daughter, as explained by royal scholar Duncan Larcombe.

Princess Charlotte will have to wait until the current Princess Royal passes away, as the title is perpetual.

Princess Anne, known for her dedication and hard work, attended 214 engagements in 2022, surpassing even the monarch who attended 181 royal engagements during the same period.

At 72 years old, Princess Anne has set a high standard for Charlotte to follow if she were to inherit the throne and become a working royal.

Looking ahead, astrologers predict an interesting future for Princess Charlotte.

As a sun Taurus, like her great-grandmother, there are indications of potential romantic relationships in her life.

Astrologer Jessica Adams suggests that if Jupiter crosses over Charlotte’s moon in Libra in 2040 when she is 25 years old, marriage could be on the horizon.

However, even before that, at the age of 15, Charlotte is predicted to have her first wealthy lover.

In terms of her career, it is believed that Charlotte will forge her own path and create her fortune independently.

Following in the footsteps of Queen Victoria, who wrote life diaries, Charlotte may pursue a literary career, possibly publishing books or even guest editing periodicals.

While the future remains uncertain, it is clear that Princess Charlotte is being raised with the understanding that she has the option to pursue a career rather than solely dedicating herself to royal duties.

This progressive approach reflects the changing dynamics of the monarchy and the desire to adapt to the modern world.

As time goes on, we will witness how Princess Charlotte’s journey unfolds and the impact she will have on both the royal family and society as a whole.
