In a recent YouGov poll, the People’s Princess, Princess Anne, has been crowned as the most favored royal with a net favorability standing at an impressive 60+.

The 72-year-old princess has earned this title through her tireless dedication and numerous engagements.

Last year alone, she participated in a remarkable 214 engagements, surpassing every other member of the royal family.

The poll revealed that 72% of respondents viewed Princess Anne in a positive light, while only 15% held a negative view of her.

This puts her in close competition with the Princess of Wales, who is known for her charm and connection with the public.

She experienced a 5-point rise in net favorability following the coronation, reaching a 59-plus from a 54 in April.

Prince William’s popularity also received a boost after the regal ceremonies and the grandeur of the king’s coronation.

His favorability rose to a 57+, making a significant 5-point increase earlier in the year.

The polls unveiled that approximately 75% of Britons held a positive view of William, showcasing his enduring appeal.

Although his popularity has slightly dipped since ascending to the throne, in September, he was the first in 10 individuals still viewed unfavorably, with a net favorability standing at 32+.

Queen Camilla, despite a 5-point decrease in favorability since April, maintains a net favorability of 4+.

This represents an improvement from when the YouGov first began recording her popularity in 2011 when it stood at negative 15.

As the Queen Consort, her position within the royal family has evolved, and the public opinion towards her continues to fluctuate.

Unsurprisingly, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have experienced a decline in popularity.

The Duchess of Sussex’s net favorability has plunged to a staggering negative 47, with 7 in 10 Britons holding a negative view of her, and only 1 in 5 maintaining a positive view.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, has seen a slight boost in ratings since the release of his telememorial in January, with favorability rising from negative 44 to negative 36.

When examining the monarchy as a whole, the institution’s favorability has improved 25+ since the coronation, rising from 19+ in April.

However, this remained significantly lower than 44+, recorded in September, reflecting the dynamic nature of public opinion towards the royal family.

It’s fascinating to see how the popularity rankings within the royal household have shifted over time.

Princess Anne’s rise to the top is a testament to her hard work and dedication, which has won the hearts of many.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue to maintain their appeal, with Prince William’s popularity on the rise.

As for Queen Camilla, despite the fluctuations in her popularity, she has managed to maintain a relatively stable standing, which is impressive given the controversies surrounding her relationship with Prince Charles.

On the other hand, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decline in popularity is not entirely unexpected, given the controversies surrounding their departure from the royal family and their recent interviews.

Overall, the YouGov poll highlights the dynamic nature of public opinion towards the royal family.
