Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship has been put under the microscope in recent years, with the brothers’ once-close bond now a distant memory.
The reasons for their estrangement are many, from Harry’s move to California with his wife Meghan Markle to his book Spare, in which he portrays William as his arch-nemesis.
The book also alleges that William flung Harry to the floor during a fight they had two months before he and Markle left the Royal Family.
According to Christopher Anderson, author of The King, William is still simmering with resentment over Megxit and Harry’s unflattering portrayal of him in Spare.
Anderson went on to note what Harry had written about William, reiterating that the Duke of Cambridge is still fuming over the memoir.
The Royal expert claimed that William is doing a great job of compartmentalizing, putting Harry and Meghan in a box and shoving it into a remote corner of his mind.

It’s clear that Harry is still upset about how William was given a free ride because he is the Hare, while Harry was excoriated for doing many of the same things.
William, on the other hand, is just trying to do the job he must do as Prince of Wales.
Spare, which was published by Penguin Random House in January, is full of bombshell anecdotes about Harry’s life as the Spare sibling in the Royal Family.
During a promotional tour for his book, Harry appeared on Good Morning America and had a one-on-one interview with anchor Michael Strahan.
The father of two got candid about why he branded William as his enemy and further explained his stance.
“There has always been this competition between us, weirdly,” Harry said.
“I think it really plays into, or is played by, the Hare Spare.”
Harry added that his mother, Princess Diana, would be devastated about the estranged relationship between him and his brother.
“I think she’d be sad,” he sighed.
“I think she would be heartbroken that it’s ended up where it’s ended up.”
It’s not just William who has come under fire in Harry’s book, with the Duke of Sussex also sharing his feelings towards his mother’s untimely 1997 death and his attitude towards his stepmother, Queen Camilla.
The book is a tell-all account of Harry’s life as a royal, and it’s clear that he’s not holding back any punches.
Despite their differences, it’s clear that both William and Harry are still trying to do what’s best for the Royal Family.
William, in particular, is doing an admirable job of compartmentalizing and focusing on his duties as Prince of Wales.
It’s clear that there’s still a lot of hurt and resentment between the brothers, but hopefully, they can find a way to reconcile their differences and move forward.
The situation between William and Harry is undoubtedly intriguing, with many people eager to know more about the reasons behind their estrangement.
