Prince William and Kate Middleton Refuse to Move into Prince Andrew’s Mansion as Charles Takes Aim at Disgraced Brother

Prince William and Princess Kate have no interest in moving into Prince Andrew’s house, despite rumors that King Charles is evicting his disgraced brother from his long-time home, the Royal Lodge, to make room for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

According to insiders, a source close to William and Kate revealed that the couple is very happy at Adelaide Cottage with their three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and 5-year-old Prince Louis.

Several sources added that this move could be a costly security problem for the King, and not only do William, 40, and Kate, 41, want to stay put, but the Royal Lodge is outside the security perimeter of Windsor Castle.

As a result, she has separate security Charles footing the bill.

However, taxpayers would still be stuck in that separate statute if William and Kate moved from the Royal family to work, a fate Charles is eager to avoid.

Adelaide Cottage, along with Frogmore House, once home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is located within the security perimeter that covers Windsor Castle.

Andrew, 63, lost his role as a working member of the Royal family after paying a multi-million dollar settlement to Jeffrey Epstein’s accuser Virginia Dufry in March 2022 as part of her s**ual assault allegation against the Prince.

Andrew has a 75-year lease on the Royal Lodge, which he shares with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

While we can confirm that Charles, 74, pays for his brother’s personal security expenses himself, reports last week claimed that Andrew covered roof costs at the Royal Lodge this summer, but refused to go outside while working, fearing he’d never come back in.

A Royal source said, Charles isn’t evicting Andrew, but Andrew will have to find the money to take care of the property himself, and where does that come from?

As it was pointed out last week, it would make sense for Andrew to move temporarily into nearby Frogmore Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which the King suggested Andrew could permanently downsize.

It was confirmed earlier this year that Harry and Meghan were distraught after they were asked to leave their Windsor home, which was given to them by the late Queen.

Harry’s cousin and Andrew’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, lives in the five-bedroom home with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, after giving birth to her second son, Ernest, earlier this month.

The Wells family just moved from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor last September.

However, there were chatter that Charles wanted to move the family into Andrew’s $38 million Royal Lodge in Windsor, which has 30 rooms and is much larger than the four-bedroom Adelaide, after telling his younger brother to move out.
