Prince William and Kate Middleton Are now YouTubers, Watch them work and play
Prince William and Kate Middleton can also add “YouTubers” to their lengthy list of names, in addition to being the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince William and his wife made their debut on Wednesday with a 25-second video named “Welcome to our official YouTube channel.”
They shared a clip from a message they recorded earlier this year. In their Sandringham, Norfolk, workplace, Wills, 38, turns to Kate, 39, and says, “By the way, you need to be careful what you say now – because these guys are filming everything.” “I know!” exclaims a giggling Kate. The remainder of the sleek 25-second clip shows a visual montage of the pair, synchronized to Kicktracks’ dance song Your Waves.
Over the next 22 seconds, we see a montage of the pair going to their royal tasks, such as charitable service, speaking with the press, and enjoying some fun, such as Kate firing a bow and arrow and William flying a helicopter.
The Prince is seen supporting the homeless organization The Passage, and advertising his Earthshot environmental award at Kensington Palace with Sir David Attenborough.

The pair is also seen together on St. Patrick’s Day, standing in front of a billboard promoting the Duchess’s Hold Still photography initiative.
“You don’t need to roll your Rs.” Kate teased William at the end of their first video.
William inquired, “Do I not?”
According to a brand expert, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have’refreshed’ their digital strategy by revamping their Instagram and launching a YouTube channel in order to build a ‘warm and inviting’ profile.
To align with their new channel, the pair updated their official Instagram and Twitter pages. It’s now @Dukeandduchessofcambridge instead of @KensingtonRoyal.
It contrasts sharply with Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, who have abandoned all social networking sites in favor of posting material on paid-for platforms such as Netflix and Spotify.
Buckingham Palace also has a YouTube page, but the Cambridges will be able to upload their own videos to this latest one. The couple’s official London home, Kensington Palace, has also rebranded its Instagram profile to match their current YouTube channel.
Second Video
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have posted their first complete video, a chat between Kate and several of the finalists in her Hold Still photography contest, only a day after launching their new YouTube channel.
“Shielding Mila – Hold Still.” a six-minute film, was posted. The video serves as an introduction to the first of a sequence of phone calls the duchess made with participants in the National Portrait Gallery’s photography exhibition’s Hold Still project.
Kate speaks with 4-year-old Mila Sneddon and her mother, Lynda, from Falkirk, Scotland, in Thursday’s video. Mila was isolated at home with Lynda during the UK’s first COVID-19 lockdown, while her father Scott and older sister Jodi remained elsewhere to reduce Mila’s chance of infection while she was undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia. Lynda’s photo of Mila kissing the window as her father stands outside was a finalist in the contest, in which citizens in the United Kingdom documented their lives during lockdown.
