Prince Louis, the youngest member of the royal family, briefly stepped away from the coronation festivities on Saturday but returned in time for the carriage procession.

Sitting beside his sister, Princess Charlotte, and mother, Kate Middleton, at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation in Westminster Abbey, the five-year-old prince left his spot during the ceremony.

While his absence may have raised some eyebrows, it seems that it was a planned break for the young prince.

As one of the youngest attendees, Prince Louis wore a specially designed outfit made by Didge and Skinner.

His attire included a Hainsworth garter blue doe-skin tunic with intricate lace work embellishment on the collar, cuffs, and fronts.

The accompanying leg garment was black with a garter blue stripe.

Accompanied by his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as his older sister Charlotte, Prince Louis arrived at Westminster Abbey.

Meanwhile, his older brother, Prince George, had the honor of serving as one of the pages for King Charles and Queen Camilla.

In a heartwarming moment, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis held hands during the ceremony.

Once inside, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte took in the grandeur of the event together.

They appeared engaged and attentive throughout, although there was a moment when Prince Louis seemed a bit sleepy and let out a yawn.

Following the crowning, the three royal siblings joined other members of the royal family in processing out of Westminster Abbey.

In the procession, Prince George walked closely behind King Charles, accompanied by his three fellow pages of honor.

Prince William and Kate Middleton followed, with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis trailing behind them.

As part of the coronation procession, all three children joined their parents for a carriage ride from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.

Notably, Prince George’s participation in the ceremony made him the youngest future monarch to be officially involved in a coronation service.

According to the Telegraph, while Prince Charles and Princess Elizabeth witnessed their parents’ coronations, they did not actively participate in the service.

The proud parents of Prince George expressed their excitement and delight at his role as a page.

A spokesperson for the Prince and Princess of Wales shared that it was a decision carefully considered by Prince William and Kate Middleton.

They are eagerly looking forward to this moment, and Prince George is equally thrilled to be part of such a significant event.
