Prince Harry has reportedly pitched a new podcast idea to several producers and production houses.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have been a big fan of his ideas, which included a podcast about childhood trauma with some controversial guests.

According to Bloomberg, Harry wanted to talk to Vladimir Putin, Mark Zuckerberg, and Donald Trump about their early years and how their experiences shaped their adulthood.

Harry has also reportedly hosted a podcast centered around fatherhood, as well as another show that explores societal conversations ranging from climate change to religion.

The latter subject was to be dissected with Pope Francis as an ideal guest.

However, the practicality of these ideas has struck some people in the Harry podcast universe as dubious at best.

People like Putin and Zuckerberg rarely give wide-ranging interviews about topics they care about, let alone about their personal upbringing and childhood traumas.

The Duke of Sussex tragically lost his mother, Princess Diana, when she was just 12 years old when she was killed in a paparazzi car chase in 1997.

He admitted in January to using drugs and alcohol to deal with her death.

He became a father in 2019 with the birth of his son, Archie.

He and Meghan Markle welcomed Lilibet in 2021.

It is worth noting that Meghan Markle hosted one podcast, Archetypes, penning her and Prince Harry’s failed $20M Spotify deal.

However, the red-haired royal didn’t have podcast ideas of his own.

The Archetype, which premiered in August 2022 and ran for 12 episodes, was the only project the pair pitched to Spotify during their two-and-a-half-year partnership.

Speculation that Markle had not given a live interview with her guests resurfaced after announcing their parting ways.

In August, writer Allison Yarrow thanked the Archetype’s producer for being an excellent interviewer.

Others claim that some of the interviews on the show were conducted by members of the Duchess’s staff, and the voice of her asking the same questions was added later.

In a joint statement to The Post last week, Spotify and Archeul Audio said they mutually agreed to separate and are proud of the series they made together.

A source close to the situation told The Post at the time that Archeul did not produce enough content to receive full payment for the mega-deal the couple signed in 2020.

Sportswriter and podcaster Bill Simmons blasted the couple in the wake of the fractured deal, calling them grifters on an episode of the podcast of the same name.

“‘I wish I had been involved in the Meghan and Harry leaving Spotify negotiations,’ said Simmons, founder of Ringer and head of Global Sports Strategy at Spotify.

“‘This is a podcast we should have been doing with them.

I have to drink one night, and tell the story of a Zoom I got with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea.’

He added, “‘It is one of my best stories.'”

In addition, Page Six Style confirmed that the previously rumored Megabucks deal between Markle and Dior will not happen.

But the former star may be eyeing a future Cartier deal, the paper reported.

Despite the failed Spotify deal, it seems that Prince Harry is still interested in pursuing his passion for podcasting.

However, it remains to be seen whether he can secure interviews with high-profile guests such as Putin and Trump.

Nonetheless, his ideas about childhood trauma and fatherhood could provide a unique perspective on these important topics.

In conclusion, Prince Harry’s pitch for a podcast on childhood trauma featuring Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has sparked interest among podcast producers.
