Prince Harry’s Desire to Interview Donald Trump Sparks Controversy
Prince Harry has come under fire after it was revealed that he expressed interest in interviewing former US President Donald Trump.
Critics have taken to social media to mock the Prince, questioning whether he would ask Trump why he called Meghan Markle “nasty” and predicted that the couple’s marriage wouldn’t last.
Some users have also speculated whether Harry had even discussed his idea with his wife, given Trump’s views about the royal couple’s relationship.
The report that Prince Harry wanted to interview Donald Trump for his podcast show has surprised many, given the former president’s controversial views about his wife.
According to Bloomberg, Harry also presented the idea of interviewing Russian President Putin and Mark Zuckerberg for the show, but these interviews did not materialize.

In a 2016 interview with Comedy Central, Meghan Markle, who was an actress at the time, said she would move to Canada if Trump was elected president.
In that same interview, Markle also called the president divisive and misogynistic.
When asked about her comments, Trump denied calling the former actress nasty during his visit to the United Kingdom as President of the United States.
He later tweeted, “I never called Meghan Markle nasty,” claiming the quote was made up by fake news media.
In a 2019 interview with Piers Morgan, Trump shared his opinion on Harry and Meghan Markle’s high profile relationship, saying the prince is “whipped”.
He continued, “I’m not a fan of Meghan.
I’m not a fan.
And I wasn’t right from the beginning.
I think poor Harry is being led around by his nose.
Do you think it’s going to end?
I do.
I’ve been a very good predictor.
As you know, I’ve predicted almost everything.
It’ll end and it’ll end bad.
I wonder if Harry’s going to go back on his hands and knees and say, please, you know, I think Harry’s been led down a path.”
Critics have questioned whether Prince Harry’s desire to interview Trump is appropriate given the former president’s controversial views about his wife and their relationship.
Some have also speculated whether Harry’s interest in interviewing Trump is a sign of his own political aspirations.
Despite the controversy, Prince Harry has not commented on the matter.
However, his desire to interview Trump has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some users defending him and others criticizing him for wanting to give a platform to a controversial figure like Trump.
