Prince Harry is reportedly set to return to Netflix for a new documentary project close to his heart.

The Duke of Sussex, aged 38, will be embarking on this venture without his wife Meghan, marking a departure from their previous joint endeavors.

After parting ways with Spotify, the Sussexes’ focus has shifted entirely to their partnership with Netflix.

While the couple had initially planned to finalize a $100 million deal with the streaming giant in two years’ time, it seems that a new opportunity has presented itself.

According to reports from Page Six, Netflix has pitched an idea for a show centered around Prince Harry.

The proposal gaining traction involves taking the prince back to his roots in Africa.

This continent holds significant meaning for Harry, as he has been involved in numerous charitable and wildlife conservation projects there.

With his well-publicized links to South Africa, Botswana, and Lesotho, the prince feels a strong connection to the region.

An insider shared, “Harry clearly has many roots in Africa and feels at home there.”

This wouldn’t be Prince Harry’s first solo endeavor in the world of streaming.

Previously, he collaborated with Apple TV for a series called “The Me You Can’t See,” which focused on mental health.

However, this potential Netflix documentary would take him back to the continent where he and Meghan enjoyed their third date.

Their travels have taken them to South Africa and Botswana, while in Lesotho, Prince Harry was involved in setting up Centibale, a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children.

During his gap year in 2004, Prince Harry formed a bond with six-year-old Mutsu Bozani in Lesotho.

This friendship led to an invitation for Mutsu and others from the country to attend Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.

The couple’s commitment to Africa and their philanthropic work in the region has been well-documented.

As for the future of their Netflix partnership, a source familiar with the couple’s $100 million deal expressed satisfaction, stating, “Things are great.

We value our partnership with Archewell Productions.”

Meanwhile, the Sussexes have recently vacated their former residence, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, although it remains uncertain who will be the next tenant.

Prince Harry’s return to Netflix promises an intimate look into his passions and experiences in Africa.
