Prince George, the future king of England, will turn 10 next month.

While his destiny as the eventual heir to the British throne has been predetermined since before he was born, his educational future may have just been revealed.

According to multiple sources, both Prince William and Prince Harry attended Eton College, a prestigious boarding school located near the Wills family home in Windsor.

It is reported that George, along with his parents, recently visited William’s alma mater, suggesting that the future monarch may enroll there as soon as he is able.

Eton College is home to 1,350 students and costs $20,000 per term, with three terms a year.

To get into this exclusive boarding school, students must register by June 30 of the school year in which they turn 10, which is this week for Prince George.

Although Eton students are between the ages of 13 and 18, it seems that Prince George may be following in his father’s footsteps by enrolling early.

Currently, Prince George is attending Lambrook School with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

They are day pupils and go home to Adelaide Cottage every day.

Lambrook educates children up to the age of 13.

When Prince William enrolled at Eton in 1995, he became the first member of the royal family to attend the school.

His father, King Charles, and grandfather, Prince Philip, attended Gordon Stone in Scotland, but his father’s mother, Princess Diana, and her brother attended Eton.

Once enrolled, Prince William and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, started a new tradition of having lunch together on Sundays, as the school is located near Windsor Castle.

Royal historian Robert Lacey writes that the prince takes his style from his royal grandmother, who intervened when William’s parents’ marriage dissolved in 1995.

The queen invited William to join her when the Eton boys came home for the weekend, concerned about her grandson’s emotional state.

Although Prince Charles and Princess Diana were in the midst of a bitter separation when William enrolled in Eton, they were able to find common ground when it came to their children’s education.

Although Prince Philip prospered at Gordon Stone, Prince Charles did not, and had no problem not sending his sons there.

Eton College gave Prince William a taste of independence and privacy, which served him well throughout his life.

If Prince George does enroll at Eton College, he will likewise be able to visit his family in nearby Windsor.

Last week, William, Kate, and George were spotted talking to two staff members at the school.

Prince William’s Eton experience still lingers with him, even 23 years after his graduation in 2000.

He made a series of close friendships which continue to this day.

Like his father’s more difficult experience in Scotland, Eton instilled in him a resilience that served him well.

In conclusion, Prince George’s future education is a topic of great interest to the public.

If he does enroll at Eton College, he will be following in the footsteps of his father and uncle.

The decision about his future educational path must be made by the end of this month, and we can only wait and see what the future holds for the young prince.
