Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, were spotted visiting Eton College with their eldest son, Prince George, who is turning 10 in a month.

The royal couple is reportedly looking for a new school for their son, and Eton College may be a strong contender.

The college is known for educating some of the most prominent figures in British history, including Prince William himself.

During their visit to the all-boys school, Prince George looked sharp as he toured the campus with his parents.

Although he won’t be old enough to attend until he is 13, it’s possible that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want him to become familiar with the surroundings and get a feel for the school before he enrols.

According to reports, the royal family was seen standing close to the Porter’s Lodge doorway, which leads to a statue of King Henry VIII, who founded the college.

Prince William was dressed in a blue jacket and navy pants, while Princess Kate donned a lovely aquamarine dress and ballet pumps.

Prince William was the first senior royal to attend Eton College, followed by his younger brother, Prince Harry.

The school has a long-standing tradition of educating members of the royal family, and it’s possible that Prince George may follow in his father’s footsteps.

Enrolment at Eton College starts when a child is in year 5, which is the current academic year for Prince George.

Although he won’t formally begin attending until he is 13, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge may want him to start becoming accustomed to the surroundings and acquire a sense of the school before he enrols.

At present, Prince George studies at Lambrook School, the same institution as his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The mixed-gender school has 178 performing arts classes and emphasizes the environment.

However, it seems that the royal family may be considering a change of school for their eldest son.
