Prince Andrew, the disgraced Duke of York, has made it clear to his friends that he has no intention of leaving his Windsor estate, despite rumors that King Charles III is planning to evict him.

According to royal sources, Andrew is currently residing in the luxurious 30-bedroom Royal Lodge, a property he has extensively renovated with his own funds.

The estate boasts 98 acres of land and even includes a pool.

Interestingly, despite their divorce in 1996, Andrew still shares the Royal Lodge with his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York.

When questioned about the possibility of leaving, one source close to the prince revealed, “He said he will not leave, there is no chance of that happening, and even if the King wanted him to, how would he do that?

Trending:

The King will not expel him, so there is no chance for that.”

However, the source did mention that Andrew would be open to discussing compensation for the money he has invested in the property, should the King decide to pursue that route.

While Andrew remains comfortably settled at the Royal Lodge, it seems that his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has been making moves of her own.

Recently, she acquired an investment property worth a staggering £4.25 million in the prestigious Belgravia neighborhood of London.

This development has raised eyebrows, as it is difficult to imagine Andrew resorting to threats against his brother over financial matters.

A reliable royal source, close to the palace, has assured the public that the King has no intention of leaving Andrew homeless and penniless.

Despite the controversies surrounding the Duke of York, it is important to note that he has already stepped back from his royal duties, particularly after the disastrous Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis.

Since then, Andrew has reportedly been enjoying quality time with his children and grandchildren, often indulging in his favorite pastime of watching TV.

It is worth mentioning that when Andrew stepped back from his royal duties, he also ceased to receive public funds.

In February 2022, he agreed to an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Dufresne, valued at approximately $12 million, while maintaining his innocence.

It is crucial to note that this settlement was not an admission of liability.
