In a surprising turn of events, the day following Charles III’s coronation, the Prince and Princess of Wales decided to take a leisurely walk through the streets of Windsor.
However, not all their admirers demonstrated the utmost respect.
A young girl, reportedly from Brazil, sought to capture a selfie with Catherine but resorted to an uncouth approach, grabbing her by the hair in an attempt to bring her closer.
Fortunately, the vigilant guards stationed nearby swiftly came to the princess’ aid, managing to separate the fan from her.
Despite the startling incident, Kate displayed remarkable composure, maintaining a relaxed demeanor as she smiled for the photo and politely greeted the girl with a “nice to meet you.”

Subsequently, the remorseful stranger realized the impropriety of her actions and promptly apologized to the guard who intervened on behalf of the princess.
Unfortunately, the incident did not escape the attention of online users, who swiftly inundated the girl with a barrage of criticism.

Sensing the child’s anguish, the princess kindly asked if she would like a hug, prompting the girl to eagerly embrace her without hesitation.
