Piers Morgan, the outspoken star and former judge on Britain’s Got Talent, has weighed in on the ongoing scandal surrounding Princess Diana’s Panorama interview.

In a series of tweets, Morgan commented on the investigation into the 1995 program, shedding light on the shocking revelations that have come to light.

Morgan shared footage of Prince William’s response to the findings, which revealed that journalist Martin Bashir had deceived Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, to secure the exclusive interview that caused a sensation when it first aired.

The prince’s reaction left Morgan astounded, as he tweeted, “Wow!

Absolutely blistering attack on the BBC by Prince William.

Trending:

Never seen him do this before.

His simmering rage is palpable, and fully justified.”

During his speech, Prince William highlighted the lurid and false claims made by Bashir about the Royal Family to Diana.

He emphasized that the interview not only let down his mother and family but also betrayed the trust of the public.

Morgan’s tweet on the matter garnered a staggering 22,000 likes, indicating a widespread agreement with his sentiments.

This is not the first time Morgan has expressed his opinion on the investigation.

Earlier, he took to Twitter to state, “It’s taken the BBC 25 years to finally tell the truth about the Bashir-Diana scandal.

They have blood on their hands because that interview propelled Diana on a path to her death.

A shocking, criminal abuse of public money.”

However, not all of his 7.5 million followers agreed with his perspective.

One Twitter user responded, “History is literally being rewritten.

Are we now to believe that Charles never had an affair with Camilla?

Is he perfectly innocent?”

Morgan, who also presents life stories on ITV, did not shy away from continuing the discussion.

He eagerly anticipated the BBC holding its own staff accountable for their involvement in this scandal, just as they would with tabloid journalists who committed such a wicked deception that had far-reaching consequences.

He questioned, “Who’s going to jail?”
