Piers Morgan, the former host of Good Morning Britain, has once again voiced his opinions on Meghan Markle after she issued an apology for misleading a British court.

Morgan, who left the show earlier this year following controversial remarks about the Duchess of Sussex, took to Twitter to express his disbelief in her statement.

In her new witness statement, Meghan admitted that she had authorized a senior aide to brief the authors of the biography, Finding Freedom.

This revelation has fueled Morgan’s criticism of the couple and their alleged exploitation of their royal titles.

Taking aim at Meghan, Morgan wrote, “I’ve now had eight months to carefully reflect on my statement that I don’t believe a word Meghan Markle says.

Trending:

And I still don’t.”

He further criticized the Sussexes for using their royal titles to gain financial benefits while simultaneously tarnishing the reputation of the royal family and monarchy.

Twitter users flooded the comments section, with some applauding Morgan for his stance and others calling for Meghan to publicly apologize to him.

Morgan supported his argument by sharing a montage of newspaper headlines reporting on Meghan’s court apology.

It was during an interview with Oprah Winfrey that Morgan initially cast doubt on Meghan’s claims, particularly her assertion that she and Prince Harry had secretly married before their public wedding.

The Archbishop of Canterbury later confirmed that no official documents were signed, leading Morgan to label her statements as “downright lies.”

Notably, Morgan also expressed skepticism regarding Meghan’s claims of struggling with suicidal thoughts while pregnant with their son, Archie.

This particular comment sparked an on-air clash between Morgan and his co-host Alex Beresford, ultimately resulting in Morgan storming off set.

Although he returned to finish the show, he resigned from Good Morning Britain shortly afterward due to the significant number of complaints received by Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator.

Meghan, in addition to filing a complaint with Ofcom, made a formal complaint to ITV regarding the potential impact of Morgan’s comments on mental health issues.

However, in September, it was ruled that his remarks about the Oprah interview did not violate Ofcom regulations.

Following this decision, Morgan expressed his satisfaction on Twitter, stating, “Ofcom rejects all complaints against me over Meghan Markle furore that led to my exit from GMB.”

Delighted with Ofcom’s support, Morgan told Mail Online that he felt vindicated in disbelieving the claims made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

He emphasized the importance of free speech and criticized what he referred to as “Princess Pinocchio’s” false narratives.

According to Ofcom, restricting his right to express his views would have been an unjustifiable limitation on freedom of expression.

Piers Morgan’s ongoing criticism of Meghan Markle continues to spark debate and divide public opinion.

As the fallout from their highly publicized feud persists, it remains to be seen whether these conflicting narratives will find resolution or further deepen the divide between the Sussexes and their critics.
