It seems that the empire of Harry and Meghan is about to crumble.

After Spotify cancelled Meghan’s podcast last week, Netflix has now followed suit, severing links with the Sussexes due to their use of illegal materials.

Speculation was rife in Hollywood that Netflix would follow Spotify’s lead, and now it has become a reality.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes that the Sussexes are just biding their time for a fatal blow before Netflix strikes back.

“Of course, they’ve lost Spotify, there are rumors that they will lose Netflix, and now they’ve lost their fight for a trademark.

It seems as if their empire is about to crumble.

I believe they’re biding their time to be torn apart,” Fitzwilliams stated.

According to Netflix staff, Harry and Meghan were kicked out of the office after Meghan asked to advance several million dollars to serve as an idea for a new project about a documentary about life in the royal family.

But after many advances, Netflix boss was fed up with his old trick of the two crazy people and furthermore, the censorship department also found that the material used by Harry and Meghan was considered illegal.

The situation is becoming tense, especially after the row with Spotify when Meghan was accused of being lazy during the podcast process.

A source at Netflix claimed that the relationship with the couple has not always been great.

Harry is no problem, but Meghan thinks she knows how to run Hollywood.

Senior executives are reportedly unhappy the pair chose to give their bombshell first interview with Oprah Winfrey on the CBS network.

That ruffled feathers, the source said.

There were some unhappy executives who felt Netflix should have been given the first bite of the cherry.

Harry’s documentary about the Invictus Games is due to air in August.

However, there was a rumor on Twitter that it has been cancelled due to the cost of Meghan’s wardrobe.

Added to the failure list, Meghan’s animated children’s series Pearl, about a girl inspired by historical female figures, was quietly dropped last year.

The former Suits star was also allegedly unhappy Netflix did not call on her to participate in high-profile shows about diversity, including Queen Cleopatra, a recent series in which the Egyptian ruler was played by brown actress Adele James.

The feeling is that the lemon has been fully squeezed.

The big bucks Harry and Meghan signed on for do not exist today.

Netflix bosses are said to now feel Meghan lives in her own bubble and does not seem to have grasped the economic reality.

There is a less friendly attitude from some at the top.

Contracts like this are multi-part deals which usually allow either side to walk away once certain contractual milestones are met.

In this case, Netflix is unlikely to renew the Sussexes’ multi-million dollar contract, believing the lemon has been fully squeezed.

Megan was creating the show through Archival Productions, the company the Sussexes had set up to produce scripted series, docuseries, documentaries, features and children’s programming.

In 2020, the royal couple signed the deal worth a rumored $100 million.

They were asked to create original content including documentaries, movies, series and children’s programming.

But much of that money will go towards financing and paying for the production of the content.

“The deal is about production budgets.

They were handed a few million dollars as an upfront development deal to build show concepts, pilots and pitches.

The large money deal only comes should the project get greenlit for a full run.

Even then, the cut Harry and Meghan get from that deal personally as writers or executive directors could be less than 20%,” a source stated.

It seems that Harry and Meghan’s ventures into Hollywood have not gone as planned.
