Netflix Blacklists Meghan: Prince Harry Plans Solo Netflix Documentary in Africa
In recent news, it has been revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing a challenging period in their careers.
After being let go by Spotify a few weeks ago, their contract with Netflix is now hanging in the balance.
While their documentary series, Harry and Meghan, was a success on the platform last December, Netflix executives are looking for more from the couple.
The fate of their contract depends on their ability to bring new and exciting ideas to the table.
According to sources close to the situation, Netflix signed a private deal with Prince Harry for a new project, excluding Meghan entirely and refusing her any payments.

It seems that Prince Harry is making plans to return to Africa solo for this new Netflix documentary.
This move has drawn comparisons to his late mother, Princess Diana, who famously traveled to Africa to campaign against landmines shortly before her tragic death.
While the details of the documentary are not yet known, it is worth noting that the ongoing Hollywood writer strike may delay Prince Harry’s plans for now.
However, it is clear that he has a deep connection to Africa, and the continent holds a special place in his heart.
A source close to the prince revealed, “Obviously, Harry has lots of roots in Africa and he feels at home there.”
Additionally, a Netflix insider confirmed that this idea was one of many that Prince Harry had been discussing.
This potential documentary would not be Prince Harry’s first venture into the world of streaming platforms.
He previously appeared alongside Meghan Markle in the couple’s first and only documentary for Netflix, Harry and Meghan.
Prior to that, he also participated in an Apple TV project called the Me You Can’t See, which focused on mental health.
Prince Harry’s love for Africa is well-known, as he took Meghan Markle on a camping trip there for their first date.
Furthermore, he established a charitable organization called Sentebale, meaning “forget me not” in Lesotho, in collaboration with Prince Seeiso, the younger brother of Lesotho’s king.
It was Princess Diana who initially formed a public bond with Africa, particularly through her work with the Halo Trust.
She famously walked through an active minefield in Huambo, Angola, just months before her untimely death.
In 2019, Prince Harry followed in his mother’s footsteps by walking through another minefield in Angola.
