A new rumor circulating suggests that Meghan Markle may be indirectly responsible for the increase in crime in the exclusive neighborhood of Montecito.

The rumor originated from a comment posted by BearsLair on the Instagram account MarkleNews1.

According to the rumor, incidents of burglary and break-ins have surged since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their mark in Montecito.

For those unfamiliar, Montecito is a gated community renowned for housing numerous celebrities.

Since the arrival of Meghan and Harry in 2020, their constant media presence, coupled with their complaints and grievances, has attracted significant attention.

Additionally, California, where Montecito is located, has long been associated with a high crime rate.

According to the rumor, Meghan frequently contacts the police, reporting invasions of her privacy by paparazzi and others.

It is suggested that while she actively seeks media attention to promote her brand, she then complains about the very intrusion she orchestrated.

Understandably, this has left people exasperated.

Furthermore, it is alleged that the criminals involved in these incidents are coming from out of town.

Numerous celebrities have purportedly sold their homes due to concerns over privacy, which they attribute to Meghan’s incessant need to involve the paparazzi.

Actress Meg Ryan, who chose Montecito as her new home to seek peace and tranquility, is reportedly furious at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for disrupting the serenity of the neighborhood.

Ever since news broke that the Sussexes had purchased property in Santa Barbara, paparazzi have flocked to the area.

Helicopters now circle the neighborhood at least four times a day, hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous couple.

Meg Ryan had previously listed her New York house as a long-term rental before relocating to Montecito, specifically for the peace and quiet it offered.

However, this tranquility was shattered upon the arrival of the Sussexes.

The National Enquirer quoted an insider who revealed that the presence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has attracted photographers, reporters, and even tourists, turning what was once a sleepy and tranquil neighborhood into a hub of unwanted attention.

According to the source, Ryan had chosen Montecito with the belief that it was a paparazzi-proof neighborhood.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.

The Sleepless in Seattle star finds herself unable to sell her new house as she had already listed her apartment in the Big Apple for long-term rental.

Montecito is now her permanent home, and hopefully, she can establish a harmonious relationship with the Prince and Meghan, the insider added.

Moving away from the crime-related aspects, Meghan and Harry seem to have a disagreement with another A-list couple, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry.

Allegedly, Meghan has held a grudge against Katy for five years since she criticized Meghan’s wedding dress in 2018.

On the other hand, Harry is upset with Orlando for voicing him in the now-cancelled adult animated series, The Prince.

During an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, Harry disclosed that he and Orlando Bloom inform each other whenever there are photographers in the vicinity.

Just recently, Orlando sent me a message because he lives nearby, and we keep in touch due to the paparazzi, Harry explained.

He shared a photograph taken by his security team, showing a long-haired man wearing a beanie and airpods, lying in the back of a blacked-out 4×4 truck with a massive camera.

The man was surreptitiously capturing images of Harry, Meghan, and their child, as well as anyone else in the area.

Harry expressed his disbelief at such behavior, questioning its normalcy and acceptability.

The rumor surrounding Meghan Markle’s alleged connection to the rise in crime in Montecito has gained traction, causing concern among residents.
