Meghan Markle’s Fashion Choices Criticized as Inappropriate During New York Trip
In a stark contrast to Kate Middleton’s glamorous appearance at the premiere of James Bond film “No Time to Die,” Meghan Markle’s fashion choices during her recent trip to New York City have come under scrutiny.
The Duchess of Cambridge stole the show in a stunning gold Jenny Packham gown, while Meghan opted for fall-ready fashions from American and Italian labels like the Row and Max Mara.
Prince William and Kate joined Prince Charles and Camilla at the Royal Albert Hall for the highly-anticipated premiere, which had been postponed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The royal couple rubbed shoulders with Daniel Craig, who is playing Bond for the final time in the film, and his glamorous Bond girls.
Kate sparkled in her golden gown, catching the attention of social media users who praised her sensational and elegant look.

On the other hand, Meghan’s wardrobe selection, which amounted to nearly £67,000, raised eyebrows among royal watchers.
Lady Colin Campbell, a royal author, criticized Meghan’s attire as wildly inappropriate, particularly for a summer’s day in New York.
During the premiere, William and Kate arrived first and made their way down the red carpet in a fleet of Range Rovers, passing one of the iconic Aston Martin cars featured in the film.
They were greeted by a packed crowd outside the historic venue.
Later in the evening, the stars of the film, including Daniel Craig and the Bond girls, mingled with members of the Royal Family.
Prince Charles was photographed conversing with Daniel and Kate, while both Charles and William engaged in conversations with Cube and star Anna.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry were in New York City, attending the Global Citizen Live event and meeting with UN leaders.
The presence of Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate at the premiere could signify a new era of collaboration and solidarity between the future king and his eldest son.
In the past, Charles and Camilla attended the world premiere of the 23rd Bond film, “Skyfall,” in 2012, while William and Kate attended the star-studded premiere of the previous Bond film, “Spectre,” in 2015, accompanied by Prince Harry.
While Kate’s glamorous appearance at the premiere garnered praise and attention, Meghan’s fashion choices during her New York trip have sparked controversy.
Fans and critics alike have questioned the appropriateness of her attire, especially considering the summer weather.
Lady Colin Campbell, in a YouTube video, sarcastically remarked on Meghan’s selection of fur coats and winter attire, calling it wildly inappropriate.
