Meghan Markle’s Dior Deal Falls Through Amidst Controversy and Harry’s Failed Audition
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has been in the news lately regarding her potential collaboration with the French fashion giant, Dior.
However, it seems as though the project is over before it even began.
Dior has denied any recent contact with Meghan, and negotiations were not on the table at present.
According to reports, Meghan was in negotiations with Dior, but they demanded that there be no further controversial statements about the royal family.
This is why Meghan released a statement saying that they would no longer be talking about them because she wanted Dior so badly.

Even after WME (William Morris Endeavor) released the story, there was such a backlash.
Dior said they weren’t in negotiations and knew nothing about it.
WME takes great pride in making big connections for their clients, so it’s possible that they could have been talking with Dior.
However, Dior’s denial used the word “negotiations,” indicating that they were not in actual negotiations yet.
Even WME may have gone back to Meghan and said that there was a small chance, but there were some things she needed to do to improve her reputation.
Unfortunately, even the hint that there could have been some kind of deal with Dior brought such a backlash that they said nope, we’re good.
A Dior representative flippantly said, “Yeah, they should have stopped trash-talking the royal family if they want to be even remotely considered for an ambassador position with the brand,” before hanging up on WME, in turn making flirtatious calls for the agent.
Then the intern scuttles to the agent’s office excitedly and says, “Dior said they’d consider it if they ceased royal family talk to all outlets.”
At which point, the agent calls Meghan and says, “I’ve just spoken to Dior, and they’re strongly considering you.
Meghan strongly suggests you reframe the conversation from the royal family to your incredible humanitarian work.”
They did dress Harry for the coronation, so perhaps that was like an audition for the pair.
Show us you can behave accordingly, and we will continue negotiations for a deal.
However, Harry’s suit was ill-fitted compared to the others and was crinkled, which made it look worse.
It was a total fail on the audition.
Not only was the suit wrinkled, but Harry looked like he had just woken up from a bender, which, based on the no-show on day one of the court proceedings, is not unusual for him.
Meghan reportedly won’t be at the Duchess of Dior after all despite being heavily linked with the collaboration with the fashion giant.
Following the cancellation of her Spotify podcast after just one season, speculation was rife that she was set to take on the role with Dior.
However, the latest comments have poured cold water over the claims, leaving it open for the former suit star to take on a role with another high-end brand.
