Meghan Markle Emerges As Top Choice Among Democrats To Defeat Trump In 2024
The possibility of Meghan Markle running for the presidency in the United States has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now.
Recent polls indicate that the former actress could be the first choice among Democrats if the party chooses a woman to run for president in the 2024 election.
According to a Democracy Institute poll conducted among Democratic voters, 25% of them said that the Duchess of Sussex would be their best choice for the job.
She was tied for first place with Vice President Kamala Harris, who also had a 25% stake.
Hillary Clinton, who lost to Donald Trump in 2016, came in third with 22% of the votes.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the woke Congresswoman, received 18% of the votes, while Senator Elizabeth Warren got 6%.
Four percent of the voters either chose another candidate or remained undecided.
Patrick Basham, the director of the Democracy Institute, stated that there is still a desire among Democrats for Meghan Markle to be their nominee.
He believes that this is due to the fact that the current choices for the Democrats are not great, and they would probably go for a female candidate if Joe Biden wasn’t already in the picture.
Basham also argued that despite being popular among black women, Kamala Harris might not be able to win the election.
He further added that Hillary Clinton is not as popular as she used to be, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not an obvious successor on the left.
As for Elizabeth Warren, her time might have come and gone.
Basham continued by saying that if you are a Democrat and want to choose which woman you’d rather have, Meghan Markle is the matched candidate.
She is biracial, young, attractive, remotely famous, and has no political record to be dismantled.
If you like identity politics and victim cards being played, then you think that we actually need more of that.
Many left-wing Democrats do.
It is worth noting that Meghan Markle’s political ambitions have been a topic of discussion for quite some time now.
Last year, Valerie Biden-Owens, Joe Biden’s sister, invited the Duchess to join the Democrats, stating that she would make a good presidential candidate.
Omid Scobie, co-author of the biography The Brilliant Quest for Freedom on the Sussex, also previously said that Meghan is the embodiment of the American dream, and one day we may even see her become president.
However, Meghan has not publicly confirmed any personal ambitions to enter politics or run for office.
She currently resides in California with Prince Harry after he stepped down from royal duties in 2020.
In conclusion, the possibility of Meghan Markle running for the presidency in the United States has gained momentum.
With the current choices for the Democrats not being great, many believe that Meghan could be their best chance against Trump or whoever else they face in the 2024 election.
Despite the ongoing speculation about her political ambitions, Meghan has not publicly confirmed any plans to enter politics or run for office.
Only time will tell if she decides to take on this new challenge.
