Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been making headlines once again, but this time it’s not for their philanthropic work or public appearances.
Biographer and former journalist Tom Bauer has revealed an extraordinary story about how the couple attempted to score a free holiday at a beachside mansion, as well as use of their host’s private jet.
Bauer claimed that the couple’s constant demands for expenses because they wanted to live for nothing had infuriated Spotify and contributed to the end of their reputed £18 million podcast deal.
According to Bauer, Meghan and Harry were invited to a sun-kissed place by the beach and arrived in the host’s private jet, as usual.
They heard that someone else who was there was quite an interesting person, and also had a beautiful house by a beach.
So Meghan went up to her and said, let’s talk, let’s become friends.

The following day, after they were taken back home in the host’s private jet, Harry called this particular woman and said, is there any chance that we could borrow your house?
Meghan wonders whether we could have it.
The woman was a little surprised, but she said it was okay in the end.
The following day, Harry calls again and says, Meghan also asks if we can use your private jet to get there.
Bauer described the couple as “scroungers” and claimed that they were constantly looking for freebies, whether it’s jets, houses, meals, or whatever.
And in the end, this is what drove Spotify and Netflix away.
The couple’s names were not published in reports, but the speculation is that it was Amal Clooney.
At the time, the Clooneys were in residence at their home on Lake Como and the Harkles seemed to borrow a lot of different jets, including Amal and George’s private plane.
The Harkles had borrowed the Goody Renker guy’s private jet when they flew to New York City for the fake royal tour, where Bill de Blasio organized police escorts for them and treated them like they were special.
However, they were allegedly asked to leave the United Nations headquarters when they turned up with a Netflix film crew.
Meghan has been sucking up to Victoria Jackson, the wife of the Goody Renker guy, and was interviewed on the Archetypes podcast as well.
Lady C has been saying that people are avoiding the Harkles like the plague because they’re sick of them trying to mooch private jets as well as other things.
According to Lady C, apparently another big factor is that people don’t trust them not to spread gossip.
They’ve publicly broken the trust of their close family by writing a tacky gossipy book about them, so why would they trust them?
Privacy is valued very highly in A-list circles.
People would pay a lot more for hotels and clubs etc where phones are banned, staff are paid to keep utterly tight-lipped.
Why would they want to invite a twosome who have a proven history of breaking this cardinal rule?
The Clooney’s were invited to the Sussex’s wedding back in 2018, but it’s claimed that they didn’t actually know the newlyweds at all.
Apparently, the Clooneys dumped the Harkles as Harry controversially left out Amal and George in the acknowledgement section of his book “Spare”.
It seems that Meghan and Harry’s constant demands for freebies have not gone unnoticed and have caused some backlash in the entertainment industry.
The couple’s reputation seems to be taking a hit, and it remains to be seen how this will affect their future endeavors.
Perhaps it’s time for the couple to start paying their own way and stop relying on the generosity of others.
