Kylie Jenner is actually Afraid of butterflies: WATCH VIDEO
We were all certain that Kylie Jenner’s daughter’s name was inspired by butterflies.
To be honest, there was proof to back this up: Jenner seems to be fascinated with flying insects on the outside, at least. Stormi’s nursery is decorated with butterflies, Jenner wears butterfly-themed jewelry regularly, and she and Stormi’s father, Travis Scott, have matching butterfly tattoos. When you add in the fact that Scott has a song named “The Butterfly Effect,” you’ve got yourself a fairly solid theory—at least by Twitter standards.
Fans continued to draw the butterfly connection even after Kylie confirmed that their baby’s name is Stormi. Stormi’s name has been linked to the butterfly effect hypothesis, which states that minor changes can have big implications. The wings of a butterfly, for example, can flap and create a tornado or a storm. (See what I mean? Storm, Stormi.) But it turns out that we’re all in on the joke. Kylie Jenner is actually afraid of butterflies.

Her show, Life of Kylie, has taught us a lot about the beauty mogul during the summer. Kylie and her BFF Jordyn Woods went to the zoo together in a clip from a Season 1 episode. Regrettably, Ky learns that she is scared of butterflies.

So, the Butterfly/Mariposa naming theory wasn’t exactly as accurate as we had hoped.
According to Life & Style, Kylie and Travis may have made their love even more permanent by marrying in a covert ceremony back in June. According to a source, Kylie and Travis married in her Calabasas mansion. “It wasn’t a big, glamorous affair like other Kardashian weddings, and only a few close friends were invited. But Kylie is crazy about Travis.”
