Inside Bagshot Park: A Glimpse into the Home of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and Prince Edward
Bagshot Park in Surrey has been the residence of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Prince Edward since 1999.
But what does it feel like inside this majestic estate?
Well, they will continue to call Bagshot Park their home for the foreseeable future, as their tenure with the Crown Estate has been extended for another remarkable 150 years.
Living with the royal couple are their children, Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex.
Lady Louise, who attends Scotland Street Andrews University, often visits home, while Prince William and Kate Middleton, who have made Windsor their residence, live close by for family gatherings.

In an interview with Sky News, the Duchess of Edinburgh expressed her gratitude for living in such proximity to the Queen.
She emphasized how fortunate their children are, as they can regularly visit the Queen at Windsor for tea, especially when Her Late Majesty spends her weekends there.
The Grade U-listed building, which underwent a reconstruction in 1879, is estimated to be worth a staggering £30 million.
Situated on 51 acres of land, Bagshot Park boasts magnificent grounds that can be admired from a stunning conservatory.
Inside the estate, one can find a grand dining table, a beautiful beebee hue, and walls made of terracotta brick.
The Duchess of Edinburgh once hosted BBC correspondent Naga Manchetti in a gorgeous room adorned with green-striped upholstered chairs and a matching carpet.
Antique sideboards, a marble fireplace, a gold-framed mirror, and precious artwork complete the room’s elegant furnishings.
Prince Edward unintentionally shared a glimpse of his home office when he officially opened the NHS Nightingale Hospital in Bristol.
The office features intricately carved wooden walls and a wall-to-ceiling bookshelf filled with trinkets and framed pictures.
In one of her videos, Sophie provided homeschooling tips during the pandemic while standing in front of a bookcase filled with DVDs, books, and games.
This gave viewers an insight into the family’s preferred leisure activities.
Another video released by Sophie showcased the largest room in the house.
It revealed enormous double doors with carved hardwood walls, glass side tables with brass legs, and other exquisite details.
The room featured a desk lamp with a white shade, various trinkets, a silver-framed picture, and a small pot of cream orchids.
Another table seemed to hold a trinket box.
Sophie’s video of herself baking scones also offered a glimpse into the kitchen.
With sage-green walls, chic white cabinetry, and white marble countertops, the kitchen exudes elegance.
It appears that there is a second kitchen for Sophie and Edward as well.
During a video conference with Thames Valley Air Ambulance, fans were treated to another view of Bagshot Park.
Sophie sat in a room corner near open shelves displaying a phone and various vases.
Glass-fronted cabinets showcased their exquisite china, including teapots, teacups, and saucers, all set against a classic dark navy color scheme.
The grounds of Bagshot Park are equally magnificent, covering 51 acres and featuring a private lake and numerous stables.
In a video where Sophie and Edward joined the hashtag Clap4Cares in 2020, viewers caught a glimpse of the exterior of the building as they clapped in front of a set of glass doors.
Bagshot Park truly offers a glimpse into the regal lives of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Prince Edward.
