Hollywood Boos Meghan and Harry at Trick Awards: Pierce Morgan Takes a Shot
Pierce Morgan, known for his uncensored remarks, took the stage at Tuesday’s Television and Radio Industries Club Awards ceremony in London and didn’t hold back in expressing his true feelings about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The 58-year-old host, who won the trophy for interview of the year, repeatedly booed the 41-year-old former actress, much to the surprise of the audience.
In a sarcastic tone, Morgan thanked Meghan Markle for her contribution to his career, stating, “I want to thank Meghan Markle because if you think about it, without her contribution to my career, I would never have gone to talk TV.”
He added, “I would never have been standing here with this award.”
Taking to Twitter later, Morgan shared a photo of himself with the award, expressing his delight in winning interview of the year at the Trick Awards for his scoop on Cristiano Ronaldo.

He thanked his team at Pierce Morgan Uncensored and jokingly mentioned that he might need to borrow one of Ronaldo’s trophy cabinets at this rate.
This incident comes after Morgan lost his position on ITV’s Good Morning Britain following his controversial comments about Meghan and Harry during their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
At the time, Morgan engaged in a heated debate with weatherman Alex Burspun before storming off the set in the middle of the telecast.
Subsequently, he left his job at the morning show and transitioned to his uncensored talk show.
The feud between Morgan and Markle dates back to the early days of their relationship with Prince Harry.
Initially, the two were friends, as Markle contacted Morgan on Twitter when she visited England to watch Serena Williams at Wimbledon in 2016.
Morgan recalled their meeting at a pub, where they enjoyed a couple of drinks before he put her in a cab.
Little did he know that the cab took her to a party where she met Prince Harry.
Morgan revealed, “The next night they had a solo dinner, and that was the last I ever heard from Meghan Markle.
I never heard from her again.
Meghan Markle ghosted me.”
He described feeling ditched by her, comparing it to being abandoned like a sack of spuds.
Throughout the years, Morgan has not held back in criticizing Markle, labeling her as fake and a ruthless social climber.
In his scathing review of the couple’s Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan, he accused them of living in a weak, whiny, and self-absorbed world where only unwavering praise is accepted, and any form of criticism is immediately dismissed as racism or bullying.
