Despite not having spoken for months, Prince Harry is expected to contact his brother, Prince William, on his 30th birthday, according to a former royal butler.

Gran Harald, who worked for the royal family for seven years, said that the Duke of Sussex may try to fix any issues between them as the heir to the throne approaches his 41st birthday on Wednesday.

The friendship between the two brothers was strong before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their positions as senior working royals in 2020.

However, physical separation due to Harry residing thousands of miles away with his family in Montecito, California, while the Wailses have made their home in Windsor, reflected the gap between the two.

After a number of accusations and assertions were made about members of the royal family in Harry’s best-selling memoir, Spare, and the Sussexes’ shocking interview with US TV personality Oprah Winfrey, relations between the brothers became even more tense.

According to sources on both sides, the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William is reportedly at rock bottom, and the two haven’t spoken in months.

However, Mr Harald asserted that he thinks Harry will contact his older brother this week.

“With families when you fall out, you still fix it,” he said in an interview with Slingo.

“Hands down, I still think Harry will try to get in touch with William on his birthday.

He will surely reach out to him, and I believe they will continue to communicate on their birthdays.”

At the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, William and Harry presented a united front.

Although it has not been confirmed whether William and Harry met before or on the historic day, there is much conjecture that they might do so before the monarch’s big day.

As Mr. Harold noted, it is a vast cry from when the boys were little.

When asked if William and Harry liked their own birthday celebrations, he responded, “I mean, we’ve heard that they had parties when they were kids growing up.

When I was there, there were birthday celebrations where people invited their friends, but it was the same as every other birthday celebration where there is cake and singing.”

After the queen’s passing last year, William’s father gave him the title of Prince of Wales, and this year marks his first birthday since that appointment.

Prior to his birthday, William discussed his ambitions for communal housing on the 130,000-acre estate he now owns in an interview with the Sunday Times.

The prince told the newspaper he will start a really big project to address homelessness in the UK, adding that he wants to make it his duty to do so.

The five-year project specifics, though, won’t be revealed until the end of the month.

William is accustomed to dealing with homelessness.

He serves as the patron of Centrepoint, a non-profit organization that assists homeless youth.

On behalf of the charity, he this week formally opened Reuben House, a complex of 33 studio apartments in South London, where rent is set at a third of a resident’s income.

Before turning 40 last year, he made a promise to keep shining a light on the solvable issue of homelessness and to introduce his children to organizations that help rough sleepers.

When William was 11 years old, Diana, Princess of Wales, accompanied him to a homeless shelter in an effort to extend the future king’s perspective.

William was seen grinning with his three kids over the weekend, in a photo shared by Kensington Palace in honour of Father’s Day.

On either side of their father, Princess Charlotte and Prince George can be seen grinning up at him, while Prince Louis, the youngest child, is pictured holding William’s shoulders from behind.
