Princess Beatrice made a swift exit from the Elton John concert at Glastonbury as the crowd erupted in boos over Prince Harry’s cameo video.

Sir Elton John, who seemed to struggle while walking onto the stage, donned a dazzling gold suit and red-tinted sunglasses as he approached the piano on the Pyramid stage.

The music festival has seen several members of the royal family in attendance, but Beatrice found herself in an embarrassing situation in 2022.

During the event, Prince Harry sent a heartfelt video message to Elton John, who was joined by fellow superstars Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney.

The concert, which was live-streamed worldwide, featured Harry’s tribute to the legendary singer.

In his message, Meghan’s husband praised Elton for entertaining audiences for decades and expressed gratitude for being a friend to his late mother.

While some fans were thrilled by the video, the majority of people at Glastonbury festival responded with boos.

Elton John took to Twitter to express his shock, stating, “I’m extremely shocked by the booing of the audience last night.

It was really wrong to broadcast it.”

Sources reported that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Eduardo Mapelli-Mozzi, hurriedly left the concert when Harry’s video played on the stage.

This created an awkward situation, as it appeared that Beatrice wanted to avoid any involvement or media attention related to Prince Harry.

Glastonbury festival has attracted a diverse range of attendees, from A-listers to royalty, with a total of 200,000 people descending upon Worthy Farm every year.

Over the years, various members of the royal family have been spotted at the festival, including Princess Beatrice in 2022.

Last year, the 34-year-old princess and her property developer husband enjoyed the festival in the VIP area, where they witnessed performances by Diana Ross, Paul McCartney, and Billie Eilish.

Princess Beatrice is not the only royal who has graced Glastonbury with their presence.

In 2013, Prince Harry attended the festival with his then-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas.

The couple, who had been dating for two years after being introduced by Princess Eugenie, watched the Rolling Stones perform on the Pyramid Stage before indulging in some chips under the sun.

Prince Harry attempted to conceal his identity by wearing sunglasses and a trilby hat.

Princess Eugenie, who played matchmaker for the couple, has also attended the festival herself, braving the unpredictable weather in 2016.

In a surprising turn of events, King Charles became the first royal to attend the festival in 2010, which marked its 40th anniversary.
