The popular legal drama series, Suits, which starred Meghan Markle for the first eight seasons, recently made its debut on Netflix on June 17th.

Interestingly, this release date coincided with King Charles’ birthday parade, leading some royal observers to speculate whether the Duchess of Sussex had any influence over the timing.

Some believe that choosing June 17th was a deliberate move to coincide with the release of Meghan Markle’s show on Netflix.

Suits follows a similar format to other legal dramas, blending weekly cases with ongoing storylines revolving around the lawyers’ machinations.

Shows like The Good Wife, The Good Fight, The Practice, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, LA Law, and How to Get Away with Murder share this formula.

However, it is puzzling that Netflix seemingly snubbed Meghan, raising doubts about the state of their relationship.

Not only did they refrain from using her name or image, but they also excluded her from promotional materials.

One can’t help but wonder if the producers of Suits now regret not casting a talented unknown actress for the role of Rachel Zane instead of Meghan Markle.

Initially, her presence didn’t matter much as she was sixth on the call list, but her royal wedding brought the show significant attention.

However, recent controversies have created serious obstacles for the series.

Netflix, in an attempt to distance itself, may pressure the creators to fabricate more stories about the British royal family.

Netflix captioned the series description, explicitly excluding Meghan, stating that Suits falls under this category due to its principal cast members: Adams, Mack, Torres, Rafferty, and Hoffman.

Despite this omission, the original cast members have shown their support for the show through their social media accounts.

Sarah Rafferty, for example, posted a photo of two male actors and tagged her co-stars in the caption, unintentionally leaving out Meghan Markle.

Fans of Meghan understand that she doesn’t use social media, so they believe it’s a forgivable oversight.

Gabriel Macht, another co-star, also referred to Suits on his account without mentioning Meghan.

However, what caught everyone’s attention was Gina Torres’ Instagram story, where she shared a screenshot of the Netflix screen featuring the cover of Suits, but without Meghan.

This move surprised many, as Meghan had often praised and shown affection for Torres in the past.

In an interview with People TV, Gina discussed Meghan’s royal role with host Jeremy Parsons.

She explained that their paths had diverged even before Meghan’s relationship with Prince Harry began.

During the interview, Torres cheekily responded to Parsons’ mention of Meghan’s royal title, pretending to be unaware of it and jokingly claiming to have been too busy to keep up with the news.

When asked about Meghan as a mother, Gina expressed her belief that motherhood would be a dream come true for the Duchess.

It seems that Gina Torres has distanced herself from Meghan, leaving fans curious about the state of their friendship.

As the drama continues, it remains to be seen how this will impact both Suits and Meghan’s future endeavors.
