Charles and William Reveal They Won’t Be in London When Harry’s in Town
The British Royal Family has been in the spotlight for quite some time now, and the drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continues to unfold.
In a recent statement, Charles and William emphasized that they won’t be in London when Harry is in town.
This news comes as a shock to many, as the will-they-won’t-they PR approach has stopped, and it seems that the British Royal Family has distanced themselves from the couple.
It’s interesting to note that there have been no meetings like the one the Queen had with Harry, to which he responded by immediately doing an interview with an American anchor.
Charles and William always leak that they won’t be in London when Harry’s in town, and they make sure to let people know they’re not meeting him.

The Prince-Princess titles are not going to move the needle at all, as those titles only matter if you have the rest of the royal trappings, which Harry and Meghan don’t.
The Sussex kids have no connection to the British Royal Family or royalty in general.
They don’t attend Trooping the Colour, and they don’t have the royal apparatus behind them, which makes them look like wannabe royalty.
People care about the Wales kids because they were born and are growing up as princes and princesses.
They attend Trooping and have some small engagements, and they have the whole royalty apparatus behind them.
There’s a theory about the will-they-won’t-they drama during the coronation.
Charles may have told Harry and Meghan that they could attend, but without kids at the coronation and no carriage rides.
Meghan demanded the same honours as Catherine, so she wouldn’t be the only one not wearing a cape and honours.
When that was denied, she bailed on going.
At one point, Charles was going to keep them with the non-working royals for the coronation, but he promised them the full royal treatment for Trooping the Colour.
However, something happened between March and now that made Charles distance himself from Harry.
To the point that Charles leaked he didn’t even invite Harry to Trooping the Colour.
Twenty years down the line, they will still be building a life overseas.
King Charles might come out and say, my other son is now a private citizen and will not attend any royal functions in a royal capacity.
He and his family are welcome to join us at the family get-togethers where there will be no press or paparazzi.
Regarding the will-they-won’t-they stories, the coronation was the last straw for Charles.
There have been lots of reports that things will change now, and I suspect one of these changes is his PR team pre-empting the Harkles with leaks like this.
Even if Harry and Meghan could attend Trooping the Colour, I don’t think Charles planned on giving Sussex a carriage ride on Trooping the Colour.
The balcony appearance is now solely for working royals, and Charles has hammered that in.
The Sussex kids would have never been working royals, even if Harry and Meghan were the most perfect royals who didn’t put a foot wrong.
They’re grandkids of a monarch, and of a monarch that in the grand scheme of things won’t reign so long.
Neither Beatrice nor Eugenie is working royals, despite Andrew lobbying hard.
I don’t think Archie and Lilibet would have a wedding as Eugenie did, even.
When the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra married, they had a huge wedding, despite being grandkids of a monarch who had been dead for several decades by that point.
Going forward, only the direct heir will have the big London wedding, and Charlotte and Louis will have a Harry and Meghan-style wedding in St. George’s Chapel.
No way would Archie and Lilibet receive a wedding that was only slightly smaller than Charles and Louis.
They might have gotten a wedding like Gabriella Kingston got, but that’s it.
But I doubt they would have even that now.
It’s possible that Archie and Lilibet wouldn’t even want to marry in England.
They’re barely British and are more American, and that will only be more obvious as they grow up.
The sad part about the Sussex kids is that they are going to look like posers, using their titles, after being raised in the United States.
I can imagine them going over to the UK later in life and being like, I’m a princess prince of the UK and you need to curtsy to me, and people just ragging on them.
Charles’s separation from Harry and his children has caused quite a stir among the public.
It’s unclear how close Charles really was with Harry, given his busy schedule as POW and now as King.
Excluding him from royal functions might not be as hard for Charles as many people think.
The British royal family has been stonewalling Harry and Meghan by all means, and they seem to be slowly giving up or too busy freaking out that Spotify fired them.
It’s possible that the Sussexes didn’t do the whole will-they-won’t-they PR for Trooping the Colour because they were so busy trying to salvage their existing deals with Spotify and Netflix.
They were coming up with PR that would make the Spotify firing seem irrelevant because they had to know Spotify would fire them before Trooping.
In conclusion, the British Royal Family drama continues to unfold, and it seems that Charles and William have distanced themselves from Harry and Meghan.
Despite their Prince-Princess titles, the Sussex kids have no connection to the British Royal Family or royalty in general.
Going forward, only the direct heir will have the big London wedding, and Archie and Lilibet might not even want to marry in England.
It remains to be seen how this drama will unfold in the future.
