Cara Delevingne Falls Flat at The GQ Men Of The Year Awards
Jennifer Lawrence’s reign as queen of the dramatic, epic, elegant, and stylish fall has come to an end. Cara Delevingne tumbled while attending the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on September 2. J. Law fell when winning her 2013 Oscar and again on the 2014 Oscar red carpet, laughing at herself, leading critics, haters, and others to believe the J. Law falls are contrived, orchestrated, and staged. Despite this, Lawrence has now been deposed, and Delevingne has taken her place.
The 22-year-old model, who looked stunning in her Burberry gown, had a minor accident inside the event when she tripped and knocked fashion designer Jonathon Saunders down with her.
We applaud Jonathan for laughing it off, and not spilling a drop of his drink.
The lavish GQ Men Of The Year Awards brought a slew of top celebs to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, but that didn’t stop the British model from getting up to her normal partying antics.
Cara is renowned for her wild partying tendencies, and it seems that after a long night of drinking, she couldn’t resist letting her hair down.
Trending:
Cara had began the night in peep-toe heels and high-waisted hot trousers with a transparent lace overlay.
Her hair was styled in loose Hollywood waves, and she completed her gothic appearance with dark crimson lipstick.
It wasn’t just Cara Delevingne who had a fall at the GQ Man of The Year Awards. Jools Holland fell awkwardly as he arrived at the GQ Awards, and he was considerably less elegant than Cara. Despite this, Jools, 56, took it all in stride and rose to bow in front of the adoring throng.
Kardashian and Rita Ora followed Delevingne’s lead and wore transparent dresses that flaunted their amazing bodies.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Kanye West, Jamie Dornan, Ellie Goulding, Colin Firth, and Jonah Hill were among the celebrities that attended the annual bash.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Dornan, and ‘Doctor Who’ actor Peter Capaldi were among the winners on the night, while Tony Blair was given the Philanthropist of the Year award, which was met with considerable controversy.
