Camilla’s Grudge Against Prince Harry: A Royal Family Feud
The royal family has always been a subject of interest and intrigue, but the latest feud between Queen Camilla and Prince Harry has captured headlines.
The Queen consort is reportedly still reeling from the portrayal of her in Harry’s best-selling memoir, “Spare,” which was released earlier this year to much fanfare.
The gossip in the royal enclosure at Royal Ascot this week centered around Harry and Meghan, and in particular, Camilla’s grudge against the couple.
According to Camilla’s friends, the mother of two remains furious at Harry for calling her a wicked stepmother in his memoir.
His cutting words are why she prefers to keep her distance from the parents of two.

A source said, “Camilla tells Charles they may make her uncomfortable, and Charles loves her unconditionally.
He made her queen and will choose her well-being over them anytime.”
Camilla knows not to go too far, though, as Charles still loves Harry.
Everyone blames Meghan for the entire mess.
Meghan isn’t the only stepdaughter-in-law Camilla is at odds with, though.
She allegedly is still not on great terms with Kate Middleton.
That was made clear when the brunette beautifully refrained from curtsying to the newly minted Queen at the May coronation.
An insider said at the time that the obvious insult raised eyebrows big-time.
Apparently, Kate was seething over commands Camilla made about coronation guests and decided to make her angry feelings very obvious.
Another source claims that the two women’s tensions began shortly after Her late Majesty’s death last September, as Camilla went on a power trip after being named Queen consort by the late monarch.
Camilla’s lifelong dream of becoming Queen had gone straight to her head.
A source said, “She started throwing her weight around, making it clear who was boss, and demanding that everyone bow down to her.
Kate was frankly disgusted by Camilla’s behavior.”
In tales of princes and princesses, the trope of the wicked stepmother is timeless at best.
These unwelcome new family members aren’t depicted as cold and neglectful.
And worse, they pose a treacherous threat.
The latter is precisely the image Prince Harry has painted of his stepmother, Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Now the Queen consort, in his memoir “Spare,” Harry revealed that in 2005, he and Prince William pleaded for his father not to marry Camilla.
Charles, who is now King, had been engaged in a long-standing affair with Camilla during his 15-year marriage to Princess Diana.
Despite Willie and me urging him not to, Paul was going ahead.
We pumped his hands and wished him well, no hard feelings,” Harry writes in “Spare.”
“We recognized that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he’d always loved.”
In passages that mainly stepchildren will relate to, Harry reflects on difficult moments adjusting to his father’s new marriage.
In one story, likely from the late 90s, he remembers wondering if Camilla would be cruel to him like all the wicked stepmothers in the storybooks.
Noting that William long harbored suspicions about the other woman, Harry also claims that Camilla converted his bedroom into her own personal dressing room as soon as he moved out of the former residence, Clarence House, when he was 28.
