A 45-year-old DJ from Rugby, Warsaw is outraged after discovering that his new passport still recognizes Queen Elizabeth as Head of State.

Ian Tombest paid £88 to renew his passport earlier this month and was surprised when it arrived within two weeks.

However, his joy soon turned to disbelief when he opened it to find it referring to Her Britannic Majesty and Her Majesty instead of the now correct His Majesty.

He finds the inclusion incredibly disrespectful to King Charles and the memory of the late Queen.

Ian Tombest insists that he is not an ardent royalist, but he is nonetheless taken aback by the ancient language used in his passport.

He initially feared that he had been conned into buying a fake passport, saying, “There is nothing about the King at all and that really bothered me.

My first thought was have I been fooled?

I wondered if it was a scam.

You just don’t expect the government to be so lenient that something with the stamp of a crown would be outdated.”

Appalled by the censors, Ian now urges the government to update all passports to give due recognition to King Charles’ rule.

He said, “It’s been a long time since her death, they certainly had time to change a statement in a very expensive operation.

But more importantly, it is a British document which is clearly incorrect.

I understand that stamps and circulating currency take time to change, but the passport should have been updated from the day of Charles’ coronation.”

He added that it was insulting and disrespectful to the late Queen’s memory, as well as to the current monarch’s position as head of state.

Recalling a fond memory from 1993, Ian remembered meeting Queen Elizabeth as an army cadet.

He said, “She was so sweet, I was so proud to have met her.”

While he says she was an integral part of everyone’s life and should be remembered and celebrated, he added that it was equally important that King Charles be respected in the same way.

The father of three is shocked and outraged by the outdated language used in his passport.

He insists that it is insulting to the late Queen’s memory and disrespectful to King Charles’ rule.

He believes that the government should update all passports to give due recognition to King Charles as head of state.

The Interior Ministry, which oversees the passport office, chose not to comment on the matter.
