Rhylee Gerber, renowned for her appearance on “Below Deck,” made a crucial decision to remove her breast implants due to a dangerous rupture that released harmful toxins into her body.

The 37-year-old television personality took to Instagram Stories to announce her upcoming explant procedure on August 22, inviting her followers to join her on her transformative journey.

During her initial consultation with Dr.

David Rankin, Gerber expressed her excitement, exclaiming, “I’m getting these guys removed!” She longed to regain a sense of complete well-being, remarking, “I don’t even remember what 100 percent feels like anymore.”

On the day of her significant surgery, Gerber expressed her exhaustion from enduring inflammation, sharp pains, and unexplained bloating.

She introduced Dee Hicks, the explant liaison at Dr.

Rankin’s office, who would document the process to keep fans informed.

Arriving at the medical facility, Gerber showcased breast-shaped earrings, playfully commenting, “We’re removing b–bs yet adding them at the same time,” before capturing moments of her preparation on camera.

After the procedure, Gerber updated her followers from her hotel room, presenting one of the implants she had retained.

She revealed, “I can only take home one breast implant because the other one was completely ruptured inside.

But here it is, folks.

One from my left side…

This other implant was just completely ruptured and leaking into my right breast capsule, which is probably why I felt a lot of nastiness.”

With transparency, she shared graphic footage of the implant removal and showcased a photo of the ruptured implant, emphasizing that it had been “leaking arsenic and other poisonous toxins into my body.”

Gerber later disclosed that the implant might have ruptured the previous year, allowing toxins to circulate throughout her body.

She credited scar tissue on the left and right sides for preventing the rapid spread of toxins, potentially protecting her from further harm.

Injecting humor into the serious situation, she uploaded a photo of herself on the hospital bed while a doctor concluded the procedure, writing, “New b–bs, who dis?” atop the image.

Additionally, she posted an image of her breasts one day post-operation, acknowledging the swelling, bloating, back pain, constipation from anesthesia, and nerve blockers.

Gerber remained optimistic, explaining that her remaining natural breast tissue would eventually fill out and that she would employ healing aids such as fish oil for scar recovery.

Relieved that the ruptured silicone implant was removed, Gerber admitted, “I had no idea it was ruptured, but I realize that’s likely why I had all the [sharp] pains.”
