Queen endorsed Harry’s TV series after misleading pitch about soldiers’ mental health
“The Me You Can’t See” is a series produced by Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey, focuses on mental health topics. According to The Daily Mail, the Queen approved Price Harry’s inclusion in the series but had no clue he would accuse the Royal Family of “total neglect.”
“Those around the queen and Prince Charles are absolutely gobsmacked by what has happened,” a source close to Buckingham Palace told DailyMail, adding, “It is a question of trust, and honestly, any of that is hanging by a thread at the moment.”
“No one within the Palace circles has anything but sympathy for Harry’s trauma and troubled life, but there is upset and discomfort at him sharing it on an international television show.
“Certainly the intimate detail of his hardships paint a very negative picture of his family and upbringing. Many people have a different view.”
The series was apparently discussed by Harry with the Queen and Meghan’s father, Thomas.

During the series, Harry said that he witnessed his mother crying while driving him and Prince William through paparazzi-infested neighborhoods. He also remembered her burial, when he met people who were mourning her loss.
He said: ‘It was like I was … showing one tenth of the emotion that everybody else was showing. I was just – this is my mum, you never even met her.’
