Prince William ‘can’t comprehend’ Why Prince Harry Keeps ‘Throwing His Family Under the Bus’
To say the least, Prince William and Prince Harry have a tumultuous relationship. For years, the brothers have been at odds, and things are only getting worse. In their candid interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan Markle demonstrated that they would not be silent about the royal family’s treatment of them. In his new docuseries, The Me You Can’t See, Harry is opening up even more, and his family isn’t happy.
Prince Harry recently divulged additional intimate information regarding his departure from the royal family, which apparently irritated Prince William.
According to reports, Prince William “cannot comprehend” how his once-close brother Harry continues to publicly trash their family.
“William feels that Harry should discuss his issues privately and can’t comprehend why he continues to shade his own flesh and blood on TV,” a source said of Harry’s comments in his new AppleTV+ docuseries, “The Me You Can’t See,” on Monday.
“Of course, mental health is a serious issue,” the insider said, “but William can’t get his head around why Harry keeps throwing his family under the bus.”

Prince Charles is also furious with Harry for the way he talks about the royal family. A conceivable reconciliation, according to the source, seems improbable. The insider continues, “There’s no way they’ll ever trust him after this.” “The damage is done.”
Throughout the series, Prince Harry talked about what motivated him to seek treatment in order to de-stigmatize mental health discussions. The Duke of Sussex did not hold back about the damage done by his royal life in the limelight, from the disagreement with Meghan Markle that prompted him to seek professional help to the effect it has had on his family.
Harry said he relocated to the US so he wouldn’t be “bullied into silence.” The pair currently reside in a £11 million house in California.
Prince William, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, have had a tumultuous relationship that only worsened when Harry and Meghan Markle decided to stand down from their positions as senior members of the royal family in March 2020, and was reignited by Prince Philip’s death last month at the age of 99.
Harry went on to say that being ruled by the royal establishment had a bad impact on his mental health:
“I thought my family would help, but every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, just got met with total silence or total neglect,” he revealed. “I was ashamed to go to my family because—to be honest with you, like a lot of other people my age could probably relate to—I know that I’m not going to get from my family what I need… That was one of the biggest reasons to leave, feeling trapped, and feeling controlled through fear. Both by the media and by the system itself, which never encouraged the talking about this kind of trauma. Certainly, now I will never be bullied into silence.”
When Prince Harry’s wife was having suicide thoughts, it was one of the most terrible periods of his life. “I thought my family would help, but every single ask—request, warning, whatever—just got met with total silence, total neglect,” Prince Harry shared in one episode, per People. “We spent four years trying to make it work. We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job. But Meghan was struggling.”
After the Sussex’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, tensions between him and other senior members of the family were already running high.
During the interview, the pair, who will step down as senior members of the royal family in March 2020, accused the royal family of racism, claiming that concerns had been raised over their son’s skin tone.
According to Us Weekly, William and their father, Prince Charles, 72, may never view Harry in the same way after his many media appearances in which Harry peels aside the layers of the British monarchy’s inner workings.
