Prince Harry can still become King of England
Harry and Meghan Markle have relocated overseas and are no longer performing royal duties.
Despite the fact that Harry and Meghan have stated that they would not be returning as working royals this year, they are still members of the British Royal Family.
As they move away from public obligations as senior members of the royal family, Harry and Meghan have decided not to use the titles His/Her Royal Highness (HRH), according to Buckingham Palace. They want to repay the public for upgrades to their house, Frogmore Cottage, and will continue to work towards financial independence.
As part of their arrangement with the Queen, the couple received several significant royal title alterations. However, this has caused widespread misunderstanding as to whether Harry is still a prince, if he’s in the royal line of succession, and if he may one day succeed to the throne.
As we all know, birthright is extremely important to the Royal Family. Harry, the Duke of Sussex, was born into Royalty and has always been referred to as a prince. The title stuck with him into adulthood, much like it did with his brother, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.

Yes, Harry, being the son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales, he was born into it. The titles in question are HRH, or His/Her Royal Highness, which Harry and Meghan are abandoning.
Prince Harry is presently the sixth in line to the throne. Prince Charles, the Queen’s eldest son and Harry’s father, is the current heir to the British throne. As a result, he will succeed Queen Elizabeth as King.
That’s all there is to it. Even if he wants differently, the Duke of Sussex is still regarded a prince in the eyes of the law. Meghan’s position as a ‘princess’ is a little more hazy, considering she simply married into the family, with many Royalists saying that she has fully forfeited the title.
Windsor was formally accepted as the family’s surname in 1917, and Mountbatten-Windsor was granted as the special distinction for direct descendants of the Queen and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. You can still refer to them as Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, if you’re in doubt.
The Queen has revoked the prince’s military postings, according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace. Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Honington and Captain General of the Royal Marines are some of them. His status as Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Navy Small Ships and Diving is likewise taken away from him.
In contrast to Edward VIII, who abdicated to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson in 1936, losing HRH and becoming the Duke of Windsor following his marriage, Harry has not completely lost his royal status — only the HRH title. It’s possible that Harry rises to the throne, but it’s a very unlikely scenario.
