Meghan and Prince Harry’s priorities in new life
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their retirement from royal life on January 8, 2020, over a year ago.
Meghan Markle has prioritized her activism and her family.
Meghan Markle understood as a young child that there was no age limit for advocacy. While many people know her as the Duchess of Sussex, a title she received in May 2018 after marrying Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, the truth is that she has been using her voice and passion to change the world for the majority of her life, which is why she is the Professional WOMAN’s Magazine Wonder Woman of the Year.
“I’m proud to be a woman and a feminist,” she stated at the United Nations on International Women’s Day 2015, speaking on gender equality. Through her work, she urges men to be like her father, who urged her to send a letter and take a stand when she was 11 years old. She rejects the notion that women must “find their voices.” Instead, she tells women that they have voices and should use them.
After stepping down as senior royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s priority became establishing a normal family life and spending time with their 9-month-old baby Archie.

Meghan Markle’s life in the public light has never been easy, especially after she and her husband, Prince Harry, delivered their royal baby, Archie, in 2019. Even while the Duchess of Sussex relished every second of motherhood, she was also dealing with detractors who accused her of everything from overspending to squabbling with sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
Fortunately for Meghan, 37, she can always count on Harry, 34. “Meghan’s happiness is his No. 1 priority,” a royal insider exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “He’s there for her 100 percent — as a husband, a lover and best friend. They’re a great team who won’t let anything or anyone bring them down.”
MEGHAN MARKLE created a children’s book inspired by Prince Harry and their son Archie on the love between a father and son.
According to royal analyst Duncan, the publication of Meghan’s book “simply shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have got their priorities all wrong.”
“With relations between Harry and William at a ‘sensitive stage’ since last month’s funeral reunion, news the children’s book will hit the shelves in June won’t go down well with the Palace,” he told Fabulous.
“Her first book might not set the literary world on fire but its release will do little to dampen the flames still burning after Meghan’s Oprah betrayal.”
